A New School Year is Upon Us!

I can't believe we are in our 2nd week of school already!! Things are a little crazy over hear, and we are getting used to our new schedules and all the running and craziness! Madyson is a 1st grader now and our Bryson is in Pre-K! I am so thankful our district offers pre k. Bryce is in the afternoon class and it goes from 12:35-3:10 so its just enough time for him and he just Loves going! Madyson is having a great year so far also. She Loves her teacher and Is really liking all her new friends. Mady also started taking 2 dance classes this year! Every Monday she has Lyrical Ballet and then Jazz. She loves it and she loves her teachers especially "Aunt Amy" our dear friend who is now her teacher! She couldn't wait until she was old enough to take one of her classes! I can't believe how quickly they are growing up and it makes me sad yet so happy also! We have also added to our craizness a bit..We now have a new member of our family! Sandy our exchange student. She is here for the whole school year and she is just as sweet as can be! Sandy is in 10th grade and goes to Atlantic Christin School in the next town over. The only hard thing is we have to take her and pick her up each day and that becomes a little crazy with all the kids but it is what it is! All in All it's been a great start to hopefully a great school year! I am sot thankful for all of what God is doing even though it's a mixture of craziness and bliss! Love these little ones! Saturday we had the such a wonderful day celebrating our Bryson Matthew! He turned 4 on the 4th of July, and we were up celebrating with my family in Ocean Grove, so we decided to celebrate a few weeks later! WE had such a fun day! WE set up all kids of water toys and little pools for the kids to play in, we had put these cute dinosaur skeletons in the sand box so the kids could "dig for fossils", had a dinosaur egg (water balloons) games, and snacks and dinosaur rice cripie treats for favors and smore pops cup cakes ice pops all the fun stuff to have a party! I just want to thank everyone for coming and helping us celebrate our sweet boy! we had some of our good friends from church/mops come and family! Enjoy the picture over load Ha! Bryson Matthew We LOVE you more than words can say! You are such a joy to be around and you really know how to make everyone you come in contact with fall in love with you and smile!! We love you our sweet 4 year old!!!!

Hi Everyone from Karen ~at~ Home! I am so excited to be guest blogging with you all today! My name is Stacey from aspenbergfam.blogspot.com and I am a wife to the Love of my life Jayson and together we have 3 amazing crazy kids! Our oldest Madyson is 6 1/2 our son Bryson will be 4 in a week and our littlest Meya Hope is 18 months! Here is a picture of the 3 of them from last Sept. when we went to Disney!
I do love being at home with them but my days are busy and some days seem longer than others but, I am so thankful that God lead me to this role! Some days I am so weary, but through Him I find my strength and make it through! I have to tell you all honestly that this year 2011 Has been our toughest and most challenging year thus far since I have been home. So much has happened in such a short amount of time that sometimes I am still wondering what God's plan is for Our family and where he will take us but trying to rest in him. On Febuary 6th, in the early morning hours my dad passed away after a long 4 years fight with stage 4 prostate cancer! I am so thankful for the man God gave me as a daddy and miss him more words than ever express you can read more on this here http://aspenbergfam.blogspot.com/2011/03/what-few-months.html . Just 2 short weeks later my husband was let go of his job of 5 years and I didn't think things could get any crazier than we got that news and it was almost to much to bear. But through those crazy times I have to tell you I feel as though my role as a Stay at home wife and Mom was completely redefined and never felt so needed , yet didnt feel like I had much to give and the Grace God gave me to get through and the Way he poured out his Love was just so powerful and Moving! I must say the biggest reward with being home is I'm there for my husband and kids and I get to be the very first one who watches them talk for the first time, take their first steps , smile for the first time and those moments are far more precious than anything else and I wouldn't trade those things for anything in the world!
I know you all don't know this but my husband does suffer from depression and it has also been such a blessing to be home and be there for him when he needs me also. Between him and the children the best reason to have me home is I am able to be there for them and all that they may need. I am a Hairdresser turned stay at home Momma, and I am fortunate that I still do a ton of hair out of my home and it makes for a nice side income and always seems to be there when we need it most. When we were dating and engaged my husband and I had a ton of long talks and we decided way back then that when we had children that I was going to be home with them. My husband was more for it than most since his mother was a stay at home mom of 4 and grew up wanting that for his family as well. So when we found out that we were expecting our 1st I went out on Maternity leave and never came back. Also for me and my profession it did not pay me to go back to work especially with the cost of Day care that we new that what I made wouldn't cover the cost. I don't really think I miss anything about working because for me I have the best of both worlds. I do hair when and if I want and I am able to plan it for during Nap and rest time or when my husband is home in the evening and I can make it to school for parties and whatnot. One thing I love is for the 2nd year I was our church's MOPS (Mothers of Preschooler's) co-coordinator. It was so awesome to see so many lives changed by God! If you are contemplating staying home the one thing I would offer as far as advice is get connected with other Mom's ! That is a must you need your girlfriends to help you get through the crazy times the happy times and the most trying times and days! There is nothing like your friends and you need to surround yourself with them! Look at your church or local church some may offer MOPS groups there or bible studies or Play groups any of the above! Its a great way to meet friends and get out there it will make the days go by shorter!
Here is a picture from a few months back (above) There are my husbands 3 sisters and their husbands! They are truly some of my closest friends and we try to sneek out every few months just us to have fun without the kids! between the 4 siblings there are 9 soon to be in a few weeks 10 cousins and it makes for some crazy fun times! Its so nice to be able to have a close family and have cousins to grow up with for our kids!
Here is just 1 picture of only a small group of us form our annual MOPS spring tea! These ladies helped me get through this some of the toughest times! Esepcially my friend Lauren to the right of me! I am so thankful for her friendship and the long talks and tears shared on the phone she is gem and I don't know what I would do without her! As far as career goals or going back to work goes, as of now I am not planning on returning anytime soon, I thing the choice we made for our family was the right one for sure!
If I am getting long winded I am so sorry but before I close I really want to share a few things with you if you are considering staying at home or even returning to work: I would tell you to Pray about it. For us its not about the money at all. we struggle at times but you get creative on ways to save money and one way or another we somehow make things work (Usually by God's grace) you get creative with meals, coupons, and whatnot! Also I would say Get Connected! Its the one thing that is so important! Get connect with the Ladies around you, you need friends! And Lastly dont just look at the finacial aspect of staying home look all all areas because it goes so much further than money! Celebrating Sweet Madyson!

WE had a fun filled weekend!!! Madyson had her 4th Dance Recital this weekend and we had so....much fun celebrating with her!!!
The Girls Madyson has danced with the same girls (almost of all them) for 4 years! We have such a good time each week and we have seen these girls grow up so far and its been great!
She LOVES dance class !! Its such a fun moment to see your little girl on stage and be soo happy!

She was soooooooooo excited to get flowers and celebrate her!! So thankful for her and fun spunkiness!!

What a few months!

It has been quite a few months to say the least....Mainly for my lack of blogging, Our lives have really been turned upside down in so...........Many ways . On the early morning hours of Feb. 6th around 3 am my dad left this earth and met his maker. It was something you can never EVER prepare for. I learned that that early morning. For those who don't know my dad was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago in Feb. while I was pregnant with our 2nd child Bryson Matthew (my dads name) . He had stage 4 Prostate and the weren't sure at that time of his prognosis. He fought his heart out and Made Huge strides and really did well until a year ago when things were progressing faster than any of us would have liked. After we came home from Disney with My dad mom and sister in September his health really began to take a toll and he was in and out of the hospitals, rehabs, and all sorts of things. But he was able to be home for Christmas and that was such a blessing for us and I know to him also. He wanted to be home and home he was and we celebrated as we usually do and he was just so thrilled! Shortly after he had to go back into the hospital and went back into his rehab/nursing home facility and the week he passed he was doing really well until that Friday. That Im not really all ready to relive just yet but Maybe intime i will!

My dad was such an amazing Father. I thank Jesus everyday for the Man he gave to me as my earthly dad. He taught me so much throughout life but really he taught me the true love for God was by showing it to others. He was such kind man and really in the town I grew up in EVERYONE knew my dad! I grew up in a really small town, and my dad was very well known. Between my early childhood years owning the towns Sub shop he got his nickname of Deli Man, to in church be known as the friendliest Usher with the warmest smile! I could talk about my dad for hours on end. We had over 600 people at his life celebration at the the church I grew up in. It was truly amazing to see the lives he touched and who knew him it was such a HUGE encouragement to my mom sister and I.
About 2 weeks after my dad passed, Jayson lost his job :-( It was the toughest 2 weeks with my dad being gone, that when this blow came we had to almost ask the Lord, What next? God has been so amazing during this time of trial and we have seen him provide in so many ways the blessing have been more than we could have even dreamed. During this time Jayson has been not only looking for steady work, but also it has given him this amazing opportunity to Serve at our church during the week aside from his normal serving times over the weekends. He has enjoyed working and serving so much! Its been a blessing.
I have been reading Ann Voskamp's blog http://www.aholyexperience.com/ for a little over a year now and have friends who have been doing her 1000 gifts on their blogs forever and I don't quite know why I haven't done it but needless to say I started a journal 2 nights ago and its been so wonderful to see the many blessings!! If you want to know more I strongly encourage you to go explore her site and see all the wonderful things she has I also have 2 of her "gifts" to us on our wall down in our office! My Crafting Adventure!

Sooooooo I have had so much Fun making these Hair-bow Holders for My girls and For My sweet sis in law who is Due with her first little girl in late February! She has 2 boys and she has finally gotten her girl! We are all so excited for her!! She's joining my world of Tutu's, tea parties, Manicures, and Lipstick Haha!! Love having girls! Don't get me wrong my little boy is just as amazing as can be but really my husband would kill me if i tried to paint his nails and My Bryson is ALL boy! He Holds Madyson's Bitty Baby like a football haha!

Okay back to these Hair Bow Holders! I purchased these Picture frames at Walmart for a great price of course! I wanted white so I already had a can of white semi gloss spray paint and I layed they out and painted them and it took a few Million times (okay not quite that many but a lot!) and then I recycled the glass. I took the paper out that came with the frame and found some card board and cut around that. Then I took this awesome fabric I found at Walmart. Can I just say our Walmart has some AmAzInG Fabric!! Anyways, I cute the fabric Ironed it and smoothed it on with some hot glue and then glued the ribbon on each ends of the back. and whalla you have these adorable, yet so functional accessories for the nursery! Plus it's great because when you are dressing the babies you can see the hair bows on the wall instead of searching through a basket! SO fun. I also Did a Pink and Brown Polka Dot one for one of my dearest friends Misty and her baby girl (My husbands Cousins' wife) All these girls coming in January and February , so far 3 of my friends had baby girls this month and 2 more are expected for next month! Ha so Fun!!

Things Have been Crazy Busy around here but so good! Kids are doing so good and We have gotten so much snow here on the East Coast and South Jersey this year! Very Much Looking forward to spring ! WE have sooo. many.house.projects. to.do! But all fun!! Happy Crafting!

Stealing Moments.........

Tis' the season to be super busy! I don't think I am the only person that feels the pressure of the season am I? But I just had to share this ... Yesterday I was sitting on the couch folding my ever Large mound of clean cloths while my 2 littlest ones were happily playing on the floor in front of me and listening to some Christmas music on Pandora. Bryce had his trains and cars out and happily zipping all over the floor between the Living room dining room and Kitchen. All the while Little Miss Meya was hugging a soft baby doll happily laughing at her Brother zipping around her. Then she crawls up to me ( like she does soo much, shes my little attached one!) and reaches up for me and I pick her up and she layes her little sweet head on my shoulder ( this makes me tear up remembering yesterday) and she holds on tight and says ahh and we stayed like that for probably about a minute and and she lifts her head and wiggles down and carries on with her dolly at my feet and it had me thinking about those sweet moments and precious they are. Then I thought about my relationship with God this time of year and how I need to consciously steal moments with him all through out the day. How I want to live and breath God's word but not only for me selfishly but also for our children. I want so desperately to dig into God's word all Throughout my day not only in my "quite time" but all day. This time of year get so incredibly hectic and crazy and I need to stop and Steal precious moments with our Savior!

Matthew 11:28 says Come to me all who are weary and I will give you rest

Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV "But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Jeremiah 24:7 NIV I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.

God's word is filled with such scriptures that just bring such life to me. I feel like when I'm in thr presnse of the Lord in my quite time it helps me become the Wife I want to be, the Mom I strive to become and the friend and women God desires for me. My favorite verse that just speacks to me so much and just makes me want to dive in to his word all day through out my day is Hosea 6:3 NKJV Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
It just really has me thinking since yesterday and this verse just litterally was like a fire cracker in my heart and I felt like it jump started me to live out those precious moments with God like we have with our sweet little ones! God I just pray right now to keep this desire and spark going in my heart all day to seek you and your word through out the day and not just in the mornings...

Playing Catch up!

I just can't believe that Thanksgiving is upon us and Christmas is just right around the corner! This is With Out A Doubt My Most Favorite Time of The Year!!!!!! Can I just tell you I can't wait to get the fall stuff put away and get the Christmas/Winter Decor out!!! But There this house is in need of some TLC before any of that can happen! I just feel like the weeks have been getting away from me and I just can't catch up! I'm Thankful for tomorrow where I have nothing planned but to get us back in some kind of order!! I need a day to "catch up"

Oh how God has blessed us with these 3 precious precious gems! As challenging as being a wife and Mommy can be, I truly believe it's because of them I have the relationship with God that I do now! Believe me when I tell you that being a Mommy to 3 has its Ups and Downs. Our latest struggle has been 2 things, One our sweet little girl has yet ANOTHER ear infection, she is scheduled to have tubes on the 16th of Dec. and that can't come quick enough! My poor little girl. Over the last 6 -8 months this little girl has suffered from Ear infection after Ear infection, and she seems to have the same problem our little guy Bryce had, The way God designed their little ears the fluid is unable to drain and since we don't live in a "Bubble" *wink* we go to church and Mady is in school and we have MOPS and what not so there is germs and she gets a cold and it turns into an ear infection *whew*! SO needless to say that this Momma and little girl haven't been getting so much sleep especially lately! Some nights are a little more tough than others but I really try to think and act as if this is only a phase and I keep thinking when they get a older I will miss the nights when they need me! But thats tough and it got me thinking Sometimes I think God wants us to stay in a ceritain stage in our Walk with him because he is still working in us and wants to either Show us something new or teach us a lesson that we (I) haven't yet figured out or whatever so for all these *stages* I'm thankful even if they are a little painful. What I have learned is that I'm thankful for this *stage* and For where we are in our life right now even though the nights can be long and mornings seem to come to early...

We are soooo Excited Our Bryce (Brycie is what I call him) is playing Soccer! He's only 3 but it's so fun to watch him! We live in a township that you can start at 3! So he's been dying to play so yesterday was his first day! He plays at 9am so we loaded up the van with the kids and off we went he got up so early that morning so I said a prayer that he would still have fun! He did thank goodness but it was too funny to watch. It got off to a slow start the coach for his team never showed up so then someone stepped in they got their balls and their shirts which btw is like HUGE on him you saw. They gave him a childs med. 10-12 shirt on my little 3t man! LoL to cute though.. SO they were doing little drills and he was dribbling the ball and we were like whoa he has some natural talent well he went off course and landed in the big goal so cute! But then he said he was thirsty and hungry and was over it. He watched a bit and then when it came to play the other team he decided he was ready again lol too cute! All in all it ended up being a great day!! So fun!! ENjoy the pictures!!

Fall??

These Last few days have sure felt like fall! Cool nights and for almost a solid week now we have had our window's OPEN! Yes you read that correctly the window's are OPEN!!!!!! Although that is about to change we are suppose to be back in the 90's this week :-( Which doesn't thrill me but Can I just tell you all I am sooooo ready for Fall. If any of you know me personally you would know that i just LOVE FALL I love everything fall, pumpkin bread, leaves changing, Fall festivals, camping ( well learning to like it haha) and apple picking ahh just everything but my most Favorite thing about fall is COOL weather!! Taking the kids outside and not sweating to death..
We have had such a FUN summer! I'm so thankful for the time I have spent with the kiddies ! Our oldest Madyson starts Kindergarten in a little over a week! I can't believe she is that old already..It makes me want to cry but yet I'm so excited for her and her new adventure! I read at Heather 's blog which i just LOVE is praying with your little ones before they go off to school. Now I know this may see obvious I did pray FOR her but I did fail to pray WITH her! I am so excited to get this going, but what I loved most about her blog post is what she prayed about what they prayed about like having good attitudes and so on, but I def. was inspired so Thanks Heather for that post!!
I'm sooo excited that we are getting the opportunity to go to Disney World in just a few short weeks!! I'm not sure who is more excited Jayson and I or the kiddo's. It's our first "real" vacation since we have been married and it's going on 9 years! We have the privilege of going with my parents and My younger sister we have a villa in Old Key West! We just can't wait! We are so excited just thinking about it!! WE are so thankful we are able to do this! For those of you who don't know my dad has been sick the last 3 1/2 years with Prostate cancer and he is well enough right now to go and his dream was to take the kids meaning grand kids to Disney and he is getting to! This is HUGE for us and Makes me get all teary eyed just knowing how much fun we will have and seeing My dads face when he sees the kids' faces light up! It's been a LONG road the last year with his health and we are sooo thankful the good Lord has allowed for this trip to happen. So please keep my family in your prayers. I don't mention it hardly ever on here because it's something that's so hard for me to talk about let alone think about at times....
Well it's getting late and we have church in the morning! Just wanted to write a quick post and catch everyone back up! Hope all is well with you all

Fun Summer!!

We have had such a fun summer so far!! I can't believe today is the first day in August!! My Birthday is in a couple of day and I can't believe it but I will be 29! My last year in my twenty's isn't that crazy!!! Just crazy! LoL God has been so good to me and I'm so thankful for another year! I am amazed that we have 3 absoltuly Beautiful Children!! Such amazing blessings! My wonderful husband! I am in just awe of the things our Lord has been doing ! The above Picture is Madyson and Bryce at My Mom and dad's house running and having fun! Warning Picture overload haha!!
I grew up in Ocean Grove NJ and the above picture was on one of our walks through town in EArly July! If you dont know anything about Ocean Grove it's known as God's Square Mile! The town is only 1 square mile and it's an old Methodist Camp Meeting town. The building about is the Auditorium That's where many many preachers have come and christian singers We have haerd some amazing people speack the world Everyone from Charles Stanley who comes every summer to music artits like Amy Grant (who my mom just saw last night there) to Newsboys who will back at the end of the summer, to Micheal W. Smith, Steven Curtis Champman, Big Daddy Weave, Petra and white heart ( do you you all remember them?? that dates us huh?)
Where else can you go to see a Scrpiture of the day on the beach every day??? Only in Ocean Grove!

Madyson's Field Day

So much has happend since I last blogged. Mostly good and some Sad :-( But you know what God has been good through it all and continues to show us how faithful he is! Some things happen I believe in life to draw us closer to the Lord even when it seems so had to understand or to even wrap your mind around! Let's start with the good and I'll save the sad for another post!
Madyson had field day at school! She had a blast! But Man it was a HOT day!! The kids had a blast!!
They played all kinds of fun games!! Some had water and some just different obstacles!
This is What Bryce did played with our neighbor friend Julian at the water table!! The boys had so much fun

This was Meya the whole time she was so content and sweet sitting there smiling and playing with her toy!! What a blessing these little kids are!! God we thank you for these special blessings!!!

The last thing they did was have an ice cream party to finish off such a fun day!!!

Meya Hope is 5 Months old now!

My little sweet precious girl Meya Hope is now 5 months old ! Well she was on the 18th but I forgot to post then! What are you up to these days? You smile ALL the time!! Most days you don't cry or fuss at all!! You LOVE your big SiStEr and BrOtHeR! You think they are the coolest things! You are quite the Momma's girl! You Love to be in your Momma's arms! You stare at Daddy!! From the Second he walks in the door at night you just smile and stare! You are QUITE the talker! In recent weeks you have discovered your voice!! SO sweet but LOUD!! It's so funny because it's like you know that you need to be heard over everyone! I'm not sure how much you weigh, You were 17lbs at your 4 month appointment and we go back next month for your 6th month! How come time is going by so quickly?!?! I want it to slow down and enjoy every second! We are enjoying you sooo much!! You have brought so much happiness to our family and turly make our family complete!! We thank the good Lord for you everyday and can't imagine life with out you!! You like Rice Cereal, butternut squash and peas! You were just about sleeping through the night but the last couple nights you have been getting up 2-3 times and that has to change LoL your Momma is quite tired! Meya Hope Mommy and Daddy, Mady and Brycie love you more than you can ever know and we are so thankful for you in our family!! XoXo

A Trip to the Zoo!

My Sweet husband called me Friday from his office to let me know he planned a family trip for Saturday to the Zoo! We only live about 40 minutes from the Cape May County Zoo and it was a great day! It was a little on the overcast side but it actually made for a perfect day! We got subs and I packed some drinks and heading out of the house a little after 9! It was great because we got there just as it opened at 10 and stayed until about 11:30 then we got our picnic stuff out! As we were getting set up there were tons and tons of people coming in the the zoo! I'm so glad we went early. I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of our little picnic! But just as we were heading out the heavens opened up and it started pouring!!
So all in all it was a great day!

There are my 2 precious little ones! I'm telling you our Mady-girl is getting so Tall!! She has got such Long thin legs! (Man do i wish I had those LoL) She's getting so big I can't even believe school will be over in 2 weeks and then we will have a girl who will be in Kindergarten! How did that happen?? Bryce will be 3 July 4th and I can't believe that either! Time is going by tooo quickly! We are trying to preserve every minute with these precious little gifts!!! Hope you all enjoyed a nice weekend !!!

We had such a FuN weekend!! Saturday Morning we headed off to Jayson's parents church to pick out some flowers and herbs and veggies for our garden at the Annual Flower Sale their church puts on and we got some GREAT Deals and we got to support a church which is score all the way around!!

Then we picked up some subs and headed to a County park and the kids were so excited but of course I forgot to take pictures while we were eating ! We had so much fun but it was sooo windy so we didn't get to stay as Long as we would've liked to still fun!!

Then Sunday after church we headed to a Local Town Smithville who has their annual May Fest So fun, good food, neat vendor's and just an all around beautiful day The weather could not have been more perfect it was 73 with a light breeze and not a cloud in the sky! The kid had a so much fun! I had to get my favorite Butterfly Fries, Jayson got his favorite Buffalo Tail Tenders, and Daddy and Bryce road the Train I think Bryce was in Heaven and Mady waited so patiently to get her face painted So cute! Jayson's Parents and Nana came with us today! Such a fun day

Where Have I Been!??!

I feel like it has yet again been quite some time since I have blogged. Let me just tell you things around here have been CRAZY to say the least!!! Things especially the last few weeks have just seemed to almost out of control at times, but you know what the best part of it all is? That even when I feel out of control and our lives seem out of control and we can't seem to control things that come up in life we have a GOD who is ALWAYS in Control !! Oh my that give me such peace just saying that out loud! We serve an AmAzInG GOD who is constantly in control!! *Sigh* such freedom comes from knowing that! Lately through certain circumstances i have been Clinging to this verse Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will FIGHT for you ! You NEED only to BE Still!!" Those of you who are my friends on facebook know that lately I have been saying that verse a lot and it has also become our verse to memorize with the kids! That has been so encourage also is seeing my little ones just soak up God's word!!! Melts my heart to hear my little Bryce and Mady girl recite Scripture! I know it makes Jesus smile to just hear his little ones recite his word!!

So Lets see, about a month ago my dad had to go in to get his appendix out, which probally does not seem like a big deal to most but he has cancer and it makes things a bit more complicated! I can't go into great detail but if you could PLEASE PLEASE keep my parents and us in your prayers I would greatly appreciate it. He was not doing so well for a while but lately the last week or so with help from a medicine that makes him want to eat since the chemo makes him not even want to think about food, he seems to be doing a little better. As most of you know who has ever had a loved one suffer from cancer it can be such a LONG and SCARY road and the un-known with what will happen next can be so hard! Thanks!

Then My little Brycie man gave us quite a scare a week and half a go! I yes Me the horrible Mother that I am gave him a peanut butter cookie, You know one of those take and bake kinds from Aldi's? But Up until this point we had no indication that he was allergic to peanuts! Well anyways not more than 2 minutes later Bryce threw up everywhere and then started sneezing over and over, coughing like a deep gasping croupy cough and while Jayson put him in the tub I immediatly called his doctor, He told me to give him a dose of bendryl so i did and then he asked me to hold the phone up to Bryce so he could here him, and he said "I need to listen to him so I know whether or not to call 911 or send you straight to the ER" Well as you could imagine as a Mommy my heart just about popped out of my chest and I started crying and of course got really scared Jayson on the other hand was my ROCK as usual! and he stayed come and we ended up taking him to the ER and by the time we got there Praise God for that! Oh also his eyes and lips swelled as well! If you could also keep Bryce in your prayers we got some lab work done from his allergist and we have to run another panel because some things came up and they needed to test him again. The first thing is that came back is he has something where his immune system is fighting against him and that could be one of the reasons why he has such issues with his skin and something else! So the prayers would be great! Thanks!

My poor husband has been working REALLY long hours and he has just been swamped at work and the poor guy has really been struggling with his Depression and it's really been hard on all of us, But God has once again gotten us through and carried us also! It's been really tough but God is good!

Last Friday we FINALLY did Mady's 1st friend Party ever! Only 4 1/2 months later!! We had originally planned it for a weekend in Feb. but we got that Massive snow storm and then we tried in March and 3 out of the 6 little girls came down with the stomach bug and so we canceled then . I decided to wait until spring to throw it in hopes that everyone would be healthy! It worked! I feel like a bad Mommy but truly her birthday falls right in between Christmas and New years so it's too crazy of a time of the year to try to do anything but this worked out beautifully! We had my sister in law Kerry come and she did updo's and her sister in law come and do some portraits of the girls and we had Pizza, and a Candy bar little goodie bags with Tinker belle theme and then we decorated our own cupcakes wither pink or purple icing! The girls had such a great time and I know it will be something she will never forget! Such fun times! Here are some pictures!

Snow Snow Everywhere!

Here is my husbands Explorer Yesterday 2/6/10 Can you believe that? Now we live in southern NJ not Alaska...Okay I know that's being a little dramatic but this was finally a snow like from when we were kids! Jayce and I were just saying how we couldn't believe how much snow we ended up getting! We were stuck in the house which was just Divine! The kids just played and played so nice together we watched a couple of movies and ended up just totally enjoying ourselves! I actually got a chance to go through some of little Miss Meya's cloths...I just can't believe how much she has grown and she is only 7 weeks old! But I should have suspect it since her older Sister and brother grew like weeds also! What can I say I just love the chubby babies!!! Here is another picture of this snow, this is our outside little fire pit we use during the summer right outside our bay window! I thought it was a neat picture to show how much we ended up getting!! This weekend was not a complete bust though..It has been so SO nice to just be able to spend time as a family........I did get a few things done so that was nice like laundry but other than that I have just been keeping myself busy by playing, Nursing, Changing dipaers, Nursing, and making some fun foods! It gave me a great excuse to try some new fun recipes! THey went over big too!! Nothing new tonight we had our favorites BBQ chicken Pizza and I made one 1/2 white for mommy and 1/2 plain/pepperoni for the kids! Jayson just LOVES my BBQ chicken pizza so I was excited to make it yet again for him...I use this great recipe athttp://www.ourbestbites.com/2008/04/breadsticks.html for Pizza dough that Never fails and I dont' even have to break out the bread machine this is all done in my Kitchen Aid Mixer that just stays on my counter so it's nice and accessible!

It's so easy to work with also! I am 1/2 Italian but I sure do NOT know how to do a pizza without my rolling pin !! For me it's the easiest and fastest way to do it! These were sooo Good!!

Now back to the snow ! Can you tell I have ADD? I seriously do and I believe it shows so often on this blog, Thanks for hanging in there with me! Here is little man He fell down in the snow and just called for me, and then lit up when He saw me and said "Mommy I make snow angle for you" Bless his little heart that little man of mine surely puts the biggest smile on our faces! All of our kids do but this little boy of ours surely has a special place in my heart....You know what they said Boys and their Momma's...Madyson had a BLAST out there, she ended up staying out way Longer than Bryce did, I was in the house with Meya and the kids were "helping" Daddy shovel .....

Here's our Dodge Mini Van all stuffed in the snow, then right outside our front door, Then Lastly my sweet girl Mady just LOVING the snow! She's just like her Daddy and loves the cold!! Good Morning Everyone ! Over at Kellys korner blog it's Beauty tips and Favorite products! WOW do I just LOVE this day!! LoL As a hairdresser turned stay at home Momma and x-Mary Kay Representative I must tell you I have feel off the ban wagon as far as products are concerned! I am so e0mbarrassed to say this but it's true! But there are a few things I just can't live without!
One of my most favorite is :

Time Wise by Mary Kay! LOVE These products!!!

Another product I just CAN'T live without is my Mary Kay Foundation and man do I need a new one!!! Here is a picture of whats in my make up bag Now Ladies I am well aware that it is soooo not good to mix bare Minerals with with anything let alone Foundation but Ladies I needed it if just under neath my eyes, but After 3 kids This Momma needs a little more help in the Mornings Now Ha!!! I just Love my Ulta (it's a beauty store here do you all have them too??) I just love their Lip Liner in Mocha with my Mac Lipstick or any lip gloss LOL or chapstick I know pathetic right but it's the truth! and I know everyone will laugh but i just love the Bonne Bell Shimmer Bronzer now I have tried a million or what seems like and this is the only one who is always constant for me Ha!!
Here is my make up bag and then my I can't live WITHOUT go to products for my hair My hair is wavy and thick so it's a must have is either one of the these depending on the morning LOL and I just LOVE that pantene Wax I have used every "professional" one and this one is my favorite!!!

Lastly here is my Blow dryer I used to have a chi and then a few years ago it died and I couldn't justify spending $100 on a blow dryer when I just use it for myself even though my husband told me go ahead! But I felt guilty but this Blow dryer is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!! To me I would by it over and over again!!!
I didnt' take a picture of my straighter but that is a must in my routine as well!! On a side note I do LOVE my bare minerals but I also do want to try Mary Kay's mineral powder and see what that's life also! Well ladies I hope you enjoyed my products Please leave me a comment and let me know!!

Sometimes the simplest pleasures in life are some of God's greatest gifts to us! So I wanted to post some of my simple pleasures of today on this Beautiful Snowy Wednesday Morning!

A sick little girl and her sweet little brother spending the day in Jammies! Because Nothing is better than staying home from school when you are sick and spending the day in your Hannah Montana Jammies LOL!!

A Sweet precious almost 7 week old baby in her Jammies too just hanging around! She's getting so chubby, 2 weeks ago at her one month appointment she weighed 11lbs 5 oz! So she's doing well!! Oh and the smells of a baby too! Nothing in the world like it!!
Lastly a sweet boy playing in his room with his Geo tracks!! My boy LOVES his trains!!!

Snow Day!!

There is absolutely nothing I love more than a LaZy Saturday at home with the family!! Right before lunch it started Snowing!! It's such a pretty snow!!! It almsot reminds me of when we were stuck in the Hospital right after Meya was born, that was a Saturday as well! This morning we had a relaxing morning, Jayson's Mom and Sister (Jayson's Aunt) who is visiting from PA came over to see the kids and see Meya for the 1st time! Of course I didn't remember to take any pictures I'm terrible I know and then Jayson and My Mady-girl ran out to do some errands for me at Target and Best Buy! I'm so THRILLED to say that our taxes are done and submitted online and it's before the last day of January! Not to bad if you ask me!! Now we are so excited to begin a new year of organization with our bill and desk are! We have this neat little cubby in the one corner of our bedroom that Jayson and his dad are going to build a desk in and some wonderful and much needed shelving as well! I will take pictures of Before and after ! Don't worry! So hopefully in the next few weeks we can get that accomplished! The funny thing is I always HATED baskets when I was a kid.....My mom still to this day is the MOST Organized person I know and uses a TON of baskets! I hated that when I was kid but now I see how AWESOME they are and how much sense it makes to use them! I am just loving them now! So I think This year there will be a lot more baskets in our future! Ha!! I have all these Ideas so Jayson told me to write them all down and that will help us accomplish them! This year my new Years Resolution is to be more organized and on top of things like my mom! Everyone used to tell me how much alike I am to my Mother and as a teenager I never did foresee how much I would love hearing that as an Adult! I may look like My daddy more but I am beginning to become more and more like my Mom and I could be happier!! I am blessed beyond Measure to have a Christian Family and am so blessed beyond belief! A whole Day When Daddy works late..

So you all will have to forgive me for posting the next few pictures! They are surely an embarrassment, to say the least! Yesterday was such a LONG i mean LONG day! Jayson went to work as usual at about 6:30, but had his work Christmas party last night at Carmine's Italian Restuarant in Atlantic City at the Tropicana so that left me with the little ones all day ! With No adult interaction except a phone call that was bad news, but will get into that a later post! Anyways so I wanted to document how insane the house can get with 3 little ones 5 and Under!! I really still can't believe I'm going to show these pictures! Please leave a comment and tell me your homes get like this as well!?!?!?

It was such a beautiful 50 degree weather and i so desperate to get them outside but the ground is still so wet from all that rain we had on Sunday! But Bryce, Meya and I did take a walk and will post that later! But really Yesterday was a day I don't think I will forget! I mean don't get me wrong I love my little ones, but a day without any Adult interaction will just be the end of me!! Ha!!

Our little girl is born!

It's been way to long since my last blog, but things have been a little crazy here! Our little girl Meya Hope Aspenberg was born on Friday, Dec. 18th at 7:35 pm and weighed 7lbs 9.4 ounces! She was perfect and beautiful! I was induced at 8 am that morning and pushed for 25 minutes and then she was born! She was my longest delivery . Our 1st daughter Madyson was born after only 2 pushes and Our Son Bryson I pushed 4 times...so this was a bit longer... Although I feel I shouldn't even complain because my sister in laws and a few of my friends have pushed for hours and such!!!

We have had quite a world wind of 3 weeks! I can't believe it's been 3 weeks since our little girl came into this world! Jayson (my husband) and I were just talking a few minutes ago about how we can't even remember our lives before her! The kids have been wonderful in the adjustment to have a little one in the house! Madyson has been a little Mommy, and Bryce has been so cute, He always tells me when she is crying including when she is in my arms and crying LOL! She really doesn't cry all that often and he always thinks she's hungry too it's adorable!! The transition over all in the house has been really good! The start of this week Is what I was dreading the most! Jayson went back to work full time and Madyson went back to school, so that started a whole new cycle but to my surprise God is soo good and got us through this week really smoothly!! I'm so thankful for that ! I was so nervous how I was going to get Madyson on the bus with the other 2 little ones and it's been just about Frigid this week also so I was so nervous! I even made it to Mops on Monday at church as well! I didn't think that I was going to be able to get there but again God is soo good and helped me through it and I was there!! I soo didn't want to miss it, Donna Chambers was speaking our pastor's wife and she is such an amazing speaker and she loves the Lord so much I was so glad I made it! Unfortunately I didn't get to hear all of her talk but I was so thankful I was able to hear some of it!! Of course Meya was hungry 1/2 way through but it's good!

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas!!! It was so special! I'll have to blog at a later day about Christmas and post some pictures because Meya is just about to ready to nurse again so I 'm going to run now but I am looking forward to getting back in the swing of things and blogging more often!!! Happy New Year too

11 days and Counting!!!!!!

11 Days Until my Induction....not that I'm counting down of course?! Ha! We are so.......excited and really looking forward to this little Girl coming! Our families are beyond thrilled as well! This will be the 3rd Grandchild for my parents and the 8th for Jayson's parents!! Jayson is the oldest out of 4 and he has 3 sisters, 2 of his sisters each have 2 children and his youngest sister Grace has a little boy who will be 2 on the 15th~ I must say our children are so blessed and have such love surrounding them on both sides!!

We finally have her nursery in full swing and is just almost all set up! The only problem I'm having is find things for her walls, I think above her changing table/dresser I want to put a bible verse and above her bed My mother in law is going to Paint her name! Ahh It looks so good! We got it painted last Thursday night. It's purple, But a darker purple than the room used to be I can't wait to put up pictures and show you all the progress! On Saturday morning we decided to put the crib up it was a rainy cold day here in South jersey and figured it would be something fun to do. We are using Madyson's white crib, now we haven't used it since she was in a toddler bed and I "thought" I kept every piece to this crib! OPPPS!!! I seem to have misplaced these particular pieces you need to screw the screws in to place?! How did that happen, I need to go to Home Depot or Lowe's to see if we could find them our local little hardware store in town didn't have them so her crib is 3 quarters of the way together, we couldn't' finish putting on the front part so now it just looks like a day bed! Luckily it's not that big of a deal or pressing because she will be in our room for at least the 1st month! But there is still this "need" in me to set up her room and have it ready for her! I know we will get it done just as my husband says..

I have my 38 week dr's appointment tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it! My sis in law Grace said she had this strong feeling that I will go in to Labor toady but so far nothing! We shall see it's only 9:54 am so I guess there is plenty left of time left in the day so who knows?! We had an ultrasound last week and at 37 weeks she was measuring a little bigger than 7lbs so she is growing good and healthy!

On a more sad note I have 2 sick little ones today ! Both the kids have icky noses and coughs so unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at things we are having a Jammie day here at home!! I obviously kept Madyson home from school today but so far it just seems as though they both have viral colds! Tis the season right? I must say it breaks my heart to see them so sad , but they are still playing well and now are both relaxing on the cough for a Little bit! My thoart was a little scratchy this morning so I've been drinking some tea with honey and lemon, then decided it was a good idea to strip the beds and washed all he sheets and blankets hoping it will kill some yucky germs ... Usually I do the sheets on Wed. but figured I would do that today instead! I have a ton of laundry to do yet again and a bout 2 loads maybe 3 to put away! I messed up this last week and didn't' do what I normally do what I normally do and that's put away the wash one load at a time! It really makes a difference! Oh well! It is what it is! Well I'm off to that now! Enjoy your day and hope things are well for all of you!

Here I go again hopefully I will be a little better blogging from here on out! I'm 35 weeks pregnant now and I can't believe we are getting so close!! I only have 4 weeks until my induction and who know if she will decided to grace us with her presense before that!! You never know! I'm sorta thinking probally not b/c of my last 2 but who knows! Every precious little one is different!! I think we have setteled on a name! But you need to stay tuned for that one! We will share for sure when she is born! Just in case we change it!! Ha! Poor Bryce his name changed like a 100 times or so it seemed!! Can you believe too that her nursey is not even ready ! I feel like a complete slacker! The other kids rooms were done by now and completely set up! Thankfully though I have all of her cloths in her draw ready to go and really we just have to paint and put some finishing touches up! Jayson and his dad did the final touches on the spackiling (s/p?) the other night so Early next week I belive one night they will just paint it!! It's going to be purple! The room is currently purple (Madyson's old room) but we wanted it fresh and clean for our new little one!!

Last Sunday 2 of my nearest and dearest friends Lauren and Chrissy threw me a "sprinkle" just something little but it was So....fun! I am so thankful for the wonderful Godly friends! The whole thing was going to be a surprise, but they weren't sure how to get to Lauren's so I ended up knowing it was happening, but my sweet husband sent them an invitation list of everyone and it worked out just perfectly! My mom and sister and aunts and cousins all came down from Central Jersey and my mother in law and sis in laws also! It was so neat! For the favors Lauren did pink chocalte covered pop corn and made the cutest labels that said "Ready to Pop"! We enjoyed delicious food amazing converstation and I even got to bring the Cherry Limeade Punch I have been dying to try from over at KellysKornerblog.com! Everything was so fun and everyone was beyond generous with all our gifts! Of couse I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures I really wish I did but here are few of the ones I did get !!

Have any of you all started Christmas shopping? I bought sadly ONLY 1 present so far! I need to get my self together! I did however go as far as make a list of things I want to get and for everyone I need to buy for! Also I'm in the process of trying to get things together for Madyson's Fancy Nancy (her Favorite books ever ) Birthday party which I am hoping to have it the weekend of 12th?! We shall see it's her first "friend" party! Her birthday isn't until the end of the month of Dec. but I always feel so bad because she gets thrown a last minute event because of all the craziness!! But I am so excited and Really Looking forward to her special day!!

It's just been one of those weeks!

We have had quite the busy last week! A week ago Tuesdayy My Mady woke up with what I believed was a start to a cold, fever on and off with some help of Motrin it went away, then that night Mady woke up coughing something fierce in the middle of the night! To me it sounded like Croup..So I put her in the bathroom with me and the Hot water run until I though she could breathe well again and we spent the rest of the night on the couch with an impormt to sleep over! Poor thing it just breaks my hear to see them so sick! Then I thought we were on the Mend and Friday I woke up with what I knew was Broncitis! I could feel it I was using my rescue in haller more than I would've like to and a call into the dr (since its hard for me to go with 2 little ones) I was able to get on some anti-boitics and now I feel better! Bryce seems to just have a cold with some conjestion and what not but is acting fine and playing! Sat. night Mady woke up again saying her ear hurt so more motrin, and then Sunday we stayed home from church just to play it safe and she didnt have any other complaints till that afternoon and i looked and her ear was leaking so to speak I know TMI! SO I called the doctors and they though possibly her ear drum ruptured and gave her some Anti-boitics and ear drops! So needless to say it's been a long week! This pregnant Momma is so sleepy! But of course my little ones come first!! So today we are off to the doctor's for them to check out her ear!! I am sure hoping she starts to feel better!! It breaks my heart to see them sick~~ My poor husband now seems stuff and I'm praying he gets better b/c this weekend coming up he's planning on going on a Guys Retreat Hiking/backpacking trip! So hoping he starts to feel better!!I hope our household is on the mend!! All these sickies!

I'm choosing to PRAISE Jesus though through this and not get discrouaged! It gets way to easy to sink in and wallow in all of the sleepless nights, and sickness and everything and not to focus for me on the positive and I'm choosing that I'm going to seek him and his Cross and not lose hope! Instead of church yesterday (since we are all under the weather) we Watch Andy Stanley on Gospel Music Channel! He was FABULOUS! Both My hubby and I are big fans and he was taking about not losing Hope and having our HOpe be sound in CHrist! He read alot from Roman's 8 and today I'm ~hoping~ to sit down and read more of What Paul has to say on hope and such!

Where did all my motivation go???

Okay not that probally any of you out there reading this care but I just want to share how UN-productive my morning was! Ha! This morning I got up with Jayson as I always do, Made his lunch jumped in the shower and was ready for my day! Through on sweats and a stained shirt (I know nasty right?) and figured I wasn't going anywhere today (i didn't unless you count McDonalds' Drive thorugh for lunch) and then the kids got up and we started our day made beds got Mady all ready for school and off to the bus stop we went! I put Mady on the Bus came home and My girlfriend called to chat for a little so I sat on the couch for what I thought would be 2 minutes and After I hung up the phone I was absoltuly Useless! SO I layed down and let Bryce watch too much TV this morning and waited for the time to pass so I could walk back down to the bus stop and get mady! Then I was having a craving for McDonalds, so I loaded up the little ones in the car and off we went through the drive through and got some lunch! Can I tell you it did not satify my craving at all infact I regreat spending that $13.03 on lunch that I did b/c It just made me thristy Ha! I know I know How pathatic am I?? I guess as Mommy's we all go through days like this (well I am hoping I'm not the only one!)

Infact as I sit her and type this I hear my little boy upstairs in his bed "suppost" to be napping kicking his feet on the wall and just heard his binky drop! Oh well! I'm hoping this day gets a little better! It's a gloomy muggy day here in South Jersey! The sun broke through about an hour ago and it was like serisouly only for 5 mintues! But At least it came out at all!! I have so many Things I want/need to get done, Infact its really starting to drive me nuts! But my lack of motivation this morning was proof that I need to relax and be still and know and keep reminding myself that GOD is in CONTROL! Not I!! So I'm praying that that in the next couple of hours while Mr. Man is sleeping I can accomplish a couple of things and not feel like a complete bum! Tomorrow marks my 27th week or Maybe it's Thursday whichever but that means I'm in the home stretch of this pregnancy! Crazy to think I'll be in my 3rd trimester! How did that happen? How come overall this pregnancy has been my least lazy one yet? And I've been chasing around 2 children! God is good and keeps me going!! Hopefully one of these days I can start getting more things ready for her room like repainitng it we are keeping it a purple but it just really needs to be repainted, and make her curtains and what not! I am trying to find a good bible verse to get in the vinal art for her wall too! I saw those in some other blogs and thing they are just tooooo cute!!! LOVE IT! Well I'm off to get his binky off the flour and give some more kisses to my little ones and then hoping to get somet things done, HOpe you all are having a more productive day than I!!!

Finally Meal Planning again!!!

I haven't done this Meal Planning all summer so I'm hoping that this is a new start to the a "new" year so to speak! With Having a 3rd baby I think this is more important than ever to stick with it! SO Here's hoping I'm able to!

Monday: Chicken Primavera (i'm using left over chicken from last nights Rosted Chicken I bought from Shoprite) with Garlic Bread (which I got free from My mother in law from Panera! Nothing better than free Ha!)

Tuesday: BBQ Pork Roast in crockpot with Roasted Veggies

Wensday: Taco CrockPot chicken (Recipe on post below)

Thursday: We have back to school night at Madys school at 6:30 and Dance from 5-6 I think we are going to have a Frozen Pizza that night so it's just less Choatic!

Friday: Chili Corn bread bake! SO good! I don't where I got this recipe but it's deicious! We use ground turkey and make chili as you would and your family likes, put it in a 9x13 inch baking dish and top with shredded cheese of your choice we use Colby Jack mix and top with corn bread mix (mix up corn bread mix accroding to package directions ) and bake until done! It's delicious! The orginal Recipe i believe called for 2 boxes of corn bread but we found it was too much!

Over at Kellys Korner blog she is having a go to meal night recipe! I wanted to share mine!! It's fabulous and what's even better is its a 1 pot meal! Our family just loves this (especially my wonderful husband b/c he loves anything Mexican/taco!) Enjoy ! I think this orginally came from Kraft Food and Family magazine a few years ago and it's one that has stuck for sure! I'm sorry I don't have any pictures!

I don't know the name of it but we call it Crock Pot Taco..........

1lb of chicken cut up in to bite size pieces (raw into the crock pot! I know I was scared to do this too)
1 cup of frozen corn
1 1/2 cups of Salsa (if you go to aldi's like I do it's one of their green jar salsas it's about that)
1 small onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
I also add some shredded zucchini and shredded carrots (just to make it more healthy for the kids)
2 Tablespoons of Taco Seasoning
2 Tablespoons of flour
you mix it all up put it on Low on the crock pot all day and this dish will melt in your mouth, I serve over either Brown or White rice whichever I have and put shredded cheese on top and some fresh cut scallions from our garden (while it lasts) and it's awesome!!!

I acutally got to post 2 times today ! Ha! I don't quite know how that happened, But I decided to throw in a load of colors in the wash and Bryce is sleeping and Madys is playing wit her doll house and I was going to put the cloths away that were on my bed while I have pandora playing but I decided to sneak another post in!! I did try to post some pictures of Madys on her 1st day of school, but for some reason it never posted so here they are! She's doing excellent! Loves going to school, loves her teacher, and loves going on the bus!! Such a cute little thing I miss her so much but know she is having a blast! It's give me and Bryce some time to hang out and spend some Momma and Bryce time which is absolutly priceless for me!

Ps how do I get the pictures to post after I type tried a couple of things but nothing seems to work! thanks

Okay so this is my 4th time typing this post! I don't know what I keep doing but for some reason I keep closing this! Well anyways here are the pictures of our 4d ultra sound we had a few weeks back! The baby looks great and she is growing well! We are so excited for this precious new baby girl to join our family! God has been so good to us and both the kids are so excited for their baby sister to come! I had my 26 doctor's appointment yesterday I can't believe I am 26 weeks already the time is completly flying by!! I'm looking forward to this baby so much!! I saw my midwife Jeanine yesterday and if you could please pray for me (us) They took my blood pressure 3 times and found that it was on the high side, they didnt say what it was, but when i get my sugar tested this week they are drawing somethings too just to be ont he safe side which I am so greatful for! Also if you don't mind praying for me too I dont know quite what has been going on but I'm going through some kidn of emotioanl thing right now! I don't knwo quite how to explain it but I'm jsut really down, and sad at times! but I'm clilnging to the cross so much and a friend of mine just shared this with me this morning on FAcebook and I'm so thankful that the Lord knows all my feelings and I cling to him when I feel like this !

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us" Ps. 62:5-8. God know's just what we need when we need it! So thankful and so thankful to have such a loving husband and kids to make me smile even though it may be tough at times!!!

Labor Weekend Bust.....

Well we had some great plans this weekend but unfortunately our house got hit with the Stomach Bug....YUCK!! Bryce started it Friday afternoon, my poor baby got sick during his nap in his crib, and continued to till about 9pm at night. Saturday afternoon, Madyson started, and did till about 9pm, Jayson started Sat. night, and the as luck would have it, I got it last night at about 9! Ughh, it was not fun nor pretty in this house this weekend, It made it so much more difficult to be sick and being pregnant, my belly was in the way and it was so hard .... So today we are having a very lazy day! I have done so much laundry in the last 3 days I can't even tell you! I was sad we weren't able to go to church yesterday and that we weren't able to go to my sis in law annual Labor Day weekend BBQ it would've been great fellowship and such but what can u do! I am thankful though that this bug seems to only last about 12 hours instead of the 24 but it still was no fun!! My body today is so achy, I can't get comfortable, Thankfully my hubby sent me to bed this morning for a nap, b/c our couches weren't cutting it! I spent 3 nights on the couch, with the kiddies and then by myself! Anyways I guess this post shared too much info! Sorry about that!! I did post something on friday about Mady's 1st day and some pictures but it didn't work so I'll be working on that! I hope everyone weekend turned out a bit better than ours!

Pre-K Here we come!!!

Today was the Pre-K Orientation! Wow I can't believe it's really here!! We went in today and met Mrs. James Mady's teacher and she was just great! Her classroom was so bright and cheery! We found where her cubby was and her name on the star board! It all seems real! I know most of you have been here but this is our very first child going off to her very 1st year of school! It seems like these 4 1/2 almost 5 years have gone by so quickly! I'm so thankful for the "extra" year I was able to have with her at home! Since she won't be 5 until Dec. its so nice we got an extra time with her!! I'll be posting some pictures of her tomorrow before she gets on the bus *tear* , but thankfully the only other children on the bus are fellow Pre-ker's!

On another note This week at our church (Shorefellowship.net ) we have a bit of what they used to call a tent revival or something to that nature we called it "August Rush" It all started off Sunday evening with a service for Men Only, Monday night was Teens Only, and last night was ladies Only night! What an incredible night of worship we had! Our pastor's wife Donna Chambers spoke and it was fantastic! She spoke about Mary the mother of Jesus and shared some scriptures it was so powerful! Unfortunately I left my Bible with all my notes in the car and my feet are a little achy, but hopefully I will post them soon....And we had a guest worship leader for the evening too! Her name is Jamie Jamgochian and she was out of this world! Here website is here http://jaimejam.com/site/ I highly recommend you check her out if you don't already know who she is! Tonight to wrap up all the festivities we have had going on at church we are having our month 1st Wed. service and we have Aaron Keys as the guest worship leader tonight and I can't wait to once again worship our incredible Savior! It's been such a sweet time of fellowship and worship! I'm humbled and feel so blessed to be apart of a church for the last 4 years that has been so in tune to the Lord and has brought so many people to Christ to have a personal relationship with him, and a church and pastor's who truly have their hearts in the right place and making such an impact here in South Jersey! I know many of you go to very similar church and it's such a blessing isn't it???

Not that this has much to do with what I have been talking about, but this afternoon I had to make a car to our car insurance company b/c I received a bill and it didn't quite look right to me and I wanted to get it all stragithed out due to taking a car off our policy and adding our new Mini Van, so I called and as I was waiting on hold it hit me hard that I haven't spent as much time as I should praying over our finance's! I think anyone who is on a one family income (due to most us Mommy's staying at home :-) ) struggle in one way or another! Don't we all wish we had a money tree in the back yard?! Anyways I have decided to take take each week as I go over our bills to pray over the stack or just 1 or 2 of them to ask God to direct us and help us keep in tact! We do of course tithe faithful to our church and support some different things and different Missions things when we can, but feel it's so important to mostly give here in our own community! We have such needs around us (as I know we do around the world) The economy is still not stable and there are so many people here in America who are unemployed and having trouble feeding their families I truly believe the Lord is placed on our hearts especially and many others I know to help out in here in our very own county and communities! Our church supports a number of Manna Feeding Centers and recently a group including our head Pastor, Pastor Tim, just came back from a week long Trip to Guatemala and was able to by 50 pairs of shoes for the kids they feed, and a brand new Fridge and 2 stoves for them to cook on, let alone do some much needed repairs! I'm so thankful for the ways our church not only reaches out to our community with a Food Bank right at our church, but Also around the World! Anyways, my point is I was reminded today to pray over our check book and bills and ask God to truly Guide each penny that goes in and out of our home! Do you all pray like this as well??

The weather here in the North East has just been Divine this week!! My oh My it's been great to have the window's wide open and the Central Air off!! It's been a great time to go outside and let the little ones play and it's been getting the wheels turning in my head of Fall and decorating for fall! Went Yankee Candle this weekend and got some new fall candles, and it has been thinking of fall meals! Tonight I did a Roast in the corkpot and I'm making some Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans! Can't wait the house smells divine!!

Oh did I mention We did find out what we are having and it's another little GIRL !!! We are so excited (would've been if it was a little boy too !!! ) It's so nice just to know I feel much more in control it makes re-arranging the rooms and getting things set much easier now!! Mady is in her New room and so are most of her things..We are coming along!! Just need a few things and her room will be complete!

Well off to finish doing a few things before Mr. Man wakes up!!

Fall?!?!?

Well I just LOVE, I mean LOVE Fall!!! I am soooooo looking forward to summer being over and fall beginning!! Well all except one thing, Madyson going to school for the very first time a week from this Thursday!! I must tell you though I am excited for her but as a Momma a little on the sad side because she is 4 almost 5 will be in Dec. and the time has just BLOWN by!!! Everyone tell you this as you hold your first baby and sometimes you think those sleepless nights will never end! But I just can't believe we are going to Pre K!! Now granted Pre K in our school district is only 2 hours a day 5 days a week, which I think will be a great transition for full day Kindergarten Yikes did I just say Kindergarten?!?!? I am trying not to rush myself but wow!!!!!!!!!! Okay to get back to fall! I just LOVE everything that fall is, 1st and for most the weather!! Cool nights and evenings!! I feel like they are coming because just a about 1/2 hour ago Jayce was getting the car seats switched back to our van ( I had to take his car through inspection yesterday what a joy that was 1 hour with 2 little kids in line YIKES!) He almost forgot his lunch so I ran it out to him and we just talked for a second but man it is just beautiful out!! Cool Pretty ahh I just love it!!

I also Love the scents of fall!! Yankee candle always comes out with some Delicious smelling scents for fall and can't wait! I got one for my bday and it was a votive and its already burnt up it was called Give thanks!! Awesome!! But more so the fresh scents outside the smell of rain when the leaves are on the ground.....Speaking of which I can't wait to get the cornstalks Hey and Mums from the local Garden market and start getting the front of the house ready! Considering we didn't do anything with our gardens this summer, Usually I try to plant something and mulch but I just never got around to it!! How sad is that?? But I can't wait!!!!! I know I know what you are all probably thinking! It's not even Sept.! But am I the only one who thinks Sept is the start of fall?!?!?! Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Before I forget we have another Ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow at 1:30 Can you tell how excited I am! I've been praying and hoping that tomorrows outcome with finding out the sex is a success!! Jayce and I are soooo excited!!!! This week started out as s slow one for us! Well sorta! Today my cousin Kait is coming over for some hair doing and later this week i have 2 more hair clients! God knows how to provide and when! Things are tight this week!! Thank goodness for hair!! It's only b/c we went away earlier this month and that always messes us up a little but its either that or never get away! so It's okay! God is good!!!

I am very much looking forward to also meal planning again and Mops starting up and everything else along with things this fall, Apple Picking, Pumpkin Picking, Fall Festivals, Craft fairs a trip to Lancaster PA to Willow Valley, Possibly another camping trip!? I also think I am going to get a bunch of those foil tins that i can start making double of some of our meals and store down in our big freezer to start to prepare for when the baby is born! I think My hands will be busy especially around Christmas time!! I have also decided I am going to start Christmas shopping when Mady goes to school and get it all done a head of time!! I would like to get it all done by Mid Nov. so it's not much to do and i can relax (sorta) before the baby comes!! We are continuing a tradition our family started a couple of years ago!! We try to emphasize Jesus (obviously) more that Santa! So we give our children 3 gifts from us b/c Jesus received 3 gifts from the wise men and Santa brings then their "big" gift! and of course stockings! But our kids are so sooooo sooooooo BLESSED beyond measure with Grandparents and such that it's crazy and to be honest! I personally think Christmas is soooooooo over done with gifts and such anyways!! Plus a fear of mine a few years ago while Jayson discussed what we wanted to do with all of this is as our children get bigger so do their gifts and the expenses! Not that we don't want our children to have things but believe me when I tell you the have soooo much and they lack for NOTHING!!!

A Blah Day....

I'm sitting her trying to figure out what to do today! The kids really need to get out of the house a little, the past few days have been kinda quite for us and I think they are feeling the itch to do something! There is only 1 problem Mommy is in a blah mood today!! It's hard! I feeling like I need something to do, but all my girlfriends seem to be busy and I'm trying get the strength I need from Jesus to just press on! I know as Mommy's we all have these days, but with being Pregnant I think my emotions are getting the best of me this morning!! So I know it's Wed. Not Tues. but I'm going to do a 10 Things I'm thankful for this morning and praise him through my gloominess!

1.) My relationship with Jesus, whom Is my best friend and someone I can be the most raw with!
2.) My husband who even though suffers from depression still works SOO hard for us and is such a good daddy and hubby! I am so thankful for all he does!
3.) My children all 3 of them even though 1 is still in my belly! They are the most precious gifts I have in my life!! I love you guys and bring me so much joy!!
4.) My home, As I sit here in the living room with Hanny Manny on Tv as i write this i just see God's blessings all around us!! All of which are just about hand me downs or just awesome pieces of old furniture! I love it and feel so blessed to be here!
5.) That our Mops Group is starting up again!! I'm still on the steering team but stepped down from being Co-Coordinator with the new baby coming and Mady starting school I needed to not be able to pick her up from school and not be soo soo busy b/c I'm not sure what life with 3 will be like!
6.) I'm so thankful that summer is almost over! Don't get me wrong I love summers but I'm ready for some fall weather and everything that fall brings, like craft shows, apple picking, just all of it!!
7.) Even through my rough days I still have hope and joy that comes from God I pray that one day everyone i know will have that same comfort that I have in Christ!
8.) Snuggles from my little man! As i sit her typing he decided to crawl up on the cough with his momma and give me some love I better hurry up and finish !
9.) Dinner with 2 couples and thier kids tomorrow night! Friends of ours from church and Us decided we wanted to start meeting 1 times a week kinda like a small group or homefellowship to pray together do a little bible study and just have some sweet fellowship!!! Can't wait to do have dinner and have them all over!!
10.) The gift of friends! They are ever so precious to me and I'm thankful for their love and support!!

it's been a little while........

So I figured I should take a few minutes on this amazing Sunday afternoon and get caught up! Last weekend we had a wonderful opprotunity to get a away for a long weekend of camping up in Pa, up past the Pocono's in a small town called Benton! It's just beautiful up there in the mountains!! Jayson's Aunt and Uncle live up there and he has camped there and visited a ton of times as a child! My sweet and ever so generous in laws rented a house at a camp ground for all the family to come and stay in!! Jayson is the oldest of 4 and the only boy, he has 3 younger sisters Susy, Kerry and Grace! They are all married and have children of their own and we are so thankful to live so close to one another and have just a blast together!! 2 out of his 3 sisters and their families were able to come!!! We all stayed in this house that was surrounded by the most beautiful views and little water falls and amazing hikes and it was just such a fun weekend! I'll post pictures soon! We left for our trip on Friday and came back Monday afternoon! What a fun time we had!

Also a week before that we bought a new mini van! It's the newest car both of us have ever owned and we just love it! It's a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan!! This van has so much room and storage it's absolutely un-real! Below the middle seat there are 2 huge compartments under the floor that lift up for storage! Not to mention the trunk goes down! So we have another foot in the back as well!! It's been such a blessing to our family! Now when the baby comes we will have enough room for everyone!!

On Wed. of this past week, the kids and I were able to go up to my parents house in Ocean Grove Nj to go visit and see the kids play they put on in town! Both kids and I had a great time!! It was so fun to see my younger cousins and friends put on such a great play and what not!! We came back on Thursday evening and it's been busy every since!

Yesterday Morning we heading to Jayson's parents church to support the youth group and get our car washed! The kids are raising Money for their winter retreat they go on every year! We were able to meet up with all of his sisters and the kids got a chance to play once again!! Then on the way home from that we stopped at a yard sale and I was able to score a great exersausuer for only $7! What a steal! You would think I would have one after 2 kids, but the one I had was give to me from friends that had 4 kids before my 2 and that was just so in need to be trashed and I am excited I was able to score one for sucha good price!!

Today we went to church and Pastor Tim preached such a good Sermon on being "Stuck" He read from Exodus and how the Isrealites were doubting Moses when they left Egypt and right before God parted the Red Sea! When God was talking to Moses and said Move on and go through the waters and he would take care of them .....Move on that hit me hard! When we are stuck in some circumstances that seem never ending or self consuming we need to regain focus and move on! Our Focus should be on Christ and Christ alone! The devil wants us to stay focused on ourselves and what not move forward but God wants us to focus on him and work towards him and he will make our paths straight! Wow it was soo good!! I have the bible verses and everything written down in my bible, but unfortuantly it's out in the car now and Bryce is just waking up so I dont have time to post them now but will soon! Hope everyone had a great weekend and HOpeuflly i will catch up again soon!!

I was going through my blog list this morning and I saw this bible verse and the Lord spoke to me this morning! It was EXACTLY what I needed to hear! This week I've spent some time praying over a few situations we have going on nothing bad just things we earnestly are seeking him for guidance on and wanna follow his will for our lives and for these decisions! Ps Mady is feeling better this morning!! Praise the Lord!! I slept on the other couch with her most of last night and we both were waking a few 100 times but I'm so thankful she's doing better today we are having a low key day!! here's the verse!!

So today started out typical a great day! The kids were up early but not too early got breakfast all done we made beds got dressed and headed outside to play for a little bit! I was nervous to take them out b/c it's been so humid in nj it's been raining/thunder stormy in the evenings and yesterday was just about un-bearable! Oh speaking of yesterday we heading to the movie theatre and we went for Free it was great! Every Tuesday and Wednesday mornings they have a movie that is rated G and a movie that is PG so we saw Clifford! It was a great morning! The kids sat wonderfully and were excellent! We also rain in to friends of ours from our neighborhood and my dear friend Sharon and her girls! It was so fun! But not to get back to today! We played outside for a bit and it was fun! Then we came in had our lunch and watch a little tv and then Bryce went down for his nap! Mady girl was so sweet and helped me get done some chores I needed to tend to like she helped me switch the laundry dust some areas and fold some cloths, then she had rest time and I was able to dive back into my book! Then i started! Madyson came down saying everything was aching and she wasn't feeling good, I felt her head and she was warm so i tried to give her some Tyelnol now mind you she has taken Tyelnol before and we have never had a problem her taking that kind of medicine she through a fight and i tried to give it to her and she spit it out at me! I wanted to cry, scream and freak out and i did yell louder than I would've like to admit and wasn't happy! Bottom line I wanted her to feel better and not be so achy! so tonight she was having the chills and yawning so we put her to bed and tried medicine again now daddy did it and she did the same thing again! My goodness this little girl is so stubborn!!!! So after the kids were down for the night I went to CVS and got the Melt away ones and I tried one and they are sooo good I hope she takes it!!! I'm praying for a peaceful night for her and that she sleeps well and the fever doesn't spike b/c then I don't know what to do!! It should be an interesting night!! Praying that she is feeling better and hopefully this isn't anything other than a fever virus !! My poor baby girl! I just hate to see them suffer!!! Hoping tomorrow is a better day!!!

Wouldn't we all just Love to know! The truth is we don't even know! Doesn't that just stink?!?! I was so stinkin' excited! But our little baby was just to active to let the ultrasound tech couldn't get a good view of he/she or of the spinal cord, so she said they will most likely send me back to get a better view of both! I couldn't help but leave there dissapointed a little but yet so Thankful that the baby looked healthy and to see the baby moving and squirming and what not was just so cool! Madyson was there too and so was my hubby (of course)! You would think with it being our 3rd we would be excited but not this excited! Oh I thought of another girls name what do you all think? Sadye or Sayde?? I really like it and it has a y in it! So I'm soooooo on Monday afternoon at 1pm, we have our ultrasound and we are (hopefully) finding out whether Madyson and Bryson are having a Baby Brother or Baby sister!! Ahhh We are just soo excited!! It's so close , on a few days away but it seems so long, but I know that time will just fly like it always does! Well 1st of all Jayson and I have always LOVED the name Mia, and if Bryce was a girl he was going to be Mia Ashley (Ashley after my sister), but he was boy so there goes that Idea! so we always kept it. But Mia spelled that was means Bitterness and well I just don't like that at all, but the Spelling Miya, pronounced Meeya is the Japanese verson and it means Temple/increasingly beautiful so that's why decided to go with that spelling! We are well aware that with the I in it she will probably be called MYA but we will deal with it! Wow, what a week we have had! As I posted in my last Post that My Pop-Pop passed away, I have to add that I wrote his wrong age, He was 84 not 83! We had the viewing on Tuesday from 4-8 and the funeral Mass (my dad's whole family is Italian Catholic except him he converted when I was little) was Wednesday and burial and lunch following! My kids stayed with My Aunt Sandi and Uncle David and their 2 kids Lauren and Chris Who are 12 and 14 (That's my mom's bother and his wife and kids), Bryce and Mady had such a BLAST!! I'm sure they all slept well after my little ones left!! But luckily My aunt and uncle said that the kids were great and well behaved! I'm so thankful!

But I must admit it has been a rough couple of days! Both Jayson and I were talking on the drive home last night and both said how drained we were! So many emotions good, bad, memories, thinking of stuff, saying how good it was to see soooooo many people and all of my dad's extended family and hear all the stories and see pictures and Video's of my dad and his siblings and cousins and everyone when they were all kids! It was so neat to see it all!!

It's so nice to be home and to get back to somewhat a "normal" routine! Bryce is down for his nap, he needed his sleep the poor little man has had a runny nose the last 3 days and has a tiny cough too! Madyson is up playing with her Doll house for relax time! I 'm hoping she lays on her bed and reads for a little bit! They were both up late and everything so it's nice to have a down day! We went food shopping this morning and then headed to the Produce place to get all of our fresh stuff! The kids were good.....now it's to folding laundry and getting some more done cleaning and what not! It's crazy how messy things can get when you are away, for only 2 days but it's always a work in progress in the house!

I also need so badly to get somethings done around here! WE are still in the process of moving the rooms around and such! Next week is my OB appointment 18 weeks next Wed. and I'm so...excited because they send me for my ultra-sound to find out whether this little baby inside me is a baby brother or baby sister! Both Jayson and I and the kids are really excited and ready to start planning for this little baby!! Oh I'll post some more pictures of the kids from last week, I realized that I posted 2 of the same pictures! HaHa! Sorry !!

Summer Begins!

My it's been a while since my last post...Let's see if I can get all caught up......Summer is finally upon us, after almost a straight month of rain here in NJ! The weather the last 2 weeks here in our neck of the woods has been well GLORIOUS! Low 80's down to the 60's at night it's been wonderful and I think we've save some money this year on the central air as well!! It's been just great to have the window's open!

Last Saturday on the 4th of July we not only celebrated our nation but we celebrated my little man Bryson's 2nd Birthday! I can't believe he is 2 already and we spent the weekend up at my parents! We had a great BBQ at my Aunt Sandi and Uncle David's house with all my aunts and uncles and cousins! WE also had cake and celebrated Bryce as well! I made a cup cake cake of a Turtle for him with my mom's help but as you can figure I forgot to take Pictures of it! But I am hoping next week sometime we can have a little get together for Bryce with Jayson's family down here and I'm planning on doing the cup-cake cake again so Hopefully then I can get some pictures of it!! The kids and I stayed up a couple of days longer (Jayce had to be home for work), but we were able to get to the beach with my mom and it was just awesome!! Can you believe my little man is 2 and this is the 1st time on the beach! I know it's a shame! We only like about 1/2 hour from the beach and I grew up in a tiny town called Ocean Grove it's 1 square mile and the furthers part is 1/2 mile to the beach, I spent every day of my summers on the beach as a kid and teenager you would think My kids would've too but opps!! Its just so hard sometimes! But you wouldn't guess it was his first time! He did wonderful and was a complete beach bum!

This past Saturday we went to visit my in laws camping and it was so fun! The kids played and played and we enjoyed a beautiful day outside spending time with the family and Jayson's sisters and their family! It was so nice/but yet sooo tiring! Madyson stayed overnight with Nanie and Popie and enjoyed some time with them and we went home afterdinner! Before we left, we got Bryce's jammies on and then headed home, only a 15 minute drive but bless his little heart he fell right asleep on the way home!! He was soo sleepy!! Poor little man but he had so much fun!

On a sad note, my Pop Pop (my dad's dad) went to meet Jesus on friday...He was 83 years old lived a good full life, but was stuck by cancer a number of years ago and then around April he took a turn for the worse and in May he was sent home on Hospice..Not that you are ever prepared for death but it was a little bit of a shocker because he was up and down the whole time on Hospice! The only good thing about all of this is it will be nice to see extended family that you only see once a few years or so....So please pray for all of us this week it's going to be a hard long week!

Next week we have a ton of doctors appointments, Between Ear Nose and Thoart doctors for little man a dentist appointment for Mady and my OB appointment its going to be busy but nice to get all these things done! I better go and get my day started I have lots to get down today!

Rain Rain Go away!

Ughh! Another Raining day here in South Jersey! I feel like it's been raining or gloomy forever now, even though we did have a nice sunny cool day on Saturday but since then it's been Overcast or raining since! Our lawn is in desperate need for a cut but with this weather Jayson can't get out there! But it will get done, Maybe the sun will grace us with it's presence this weekend! We are praying it does!
I told the kids that today would be a "movie" day! We would lay low and just hang out in our comfy cloths and watch movies and have a Nice quite day! We have been quite on the busy side all week and I think it's time for a day just to hang low and catch up on a few chores that need to be attended to and some laundry and relax!!!!! We had such a busy day yesterday I didn't get a chance to wash out sheets and stuff so I need to do that today amongst a ton of other things!!
I've been working on our summer schedule somewhat and can't wait to get it more filled up with some fun stuff, We have one mini-trip planned the weekend of Aug. 8th to go up to a cabin with Jayson's parents and his sisters and their families to Benton Pa. We usually go camping up there in the fall but I think we are heading to Lancaster this year in the fall instead! Jayson's parents gave all of us for Christmas a gift Certificate to Lancaster to stay at Willow Valley for the weekend! But we LOVE being outside and LOVE spending time with family so it's the best of both worlds for us!
Other than that the week days are filled with trips to the Cove, which is a little beach here in Mays landing right on Lake Lenape which is great for the kids and I! I plan to spend most of the mornings I can there with the kids and since its so close we will have out lunch there come home in time for nap/rest time! I figured it's an inexpensive way for the kids to have fun and enjoy the summer! Even though we live close to the Jersey Shore I refuse to drive the 25 minutes to the beach everyday! I know that sounds funny especially to those who would love to be able only to drive that short distance! i grew up in a tiny town in Central/North Jersey called Ocean Grove, It's a very small town only 1 square mile and we always lived so close to the beach the longest walk would be 10 minutes! So I think it's just silly to drive anything more than 5 minutes! Haha I feel silly even saying that!
I am trying to think of fun ways to celebrate Bryson's 2nd birthday! I can't believe he will be 2! Our little man just LOVES Monkey's so I am thinking of going with that theme of some sort! But with his Birthday being on July 4th it not only makes it hard but also a little tricky to plan! It's so funny that he loves Monkey's so much because ever since he was born Jayce and I have always called him our little Monkey! I think this year we have it on a little bit of a smaller side b/c last year we had a blast but we did a whole BBQ! I've been keeping my eye out on some things I love that are Monkey themed on Oriental Trading! They have the greatest things and so inexpensive!
Well while my kiddies are watching "Super Why" I think I am going to go start some laundry and get a head of the things I have on my list for today!! Oh my list! I just love them!! I always said I wouldn't be like my Mother but I guess I ended up a lot more like her than I would like to admit! HaHa, Truth be told though I'm glad I am getting to be a little more like her she's an awesome women and is so incredibly organized it gives me such hope!

Dance Recital and some other stuff

I don't know why I didnt post a few pictures up from my Mady-girls dance recital, but I guess life just gets in the way! She did excellent! This was her 2nd year of dance and she just absolutly Loves it!! Enjoy! I don't know why Blogger put them up first but it works! I can't believe how big my little ones are getting and before we know it we will have a 3rd on the way! Time really does fly by and God is so good to us! We are so amazed but the things he has done in our lives and the things he is doing day by day! We are so very excited to add to our family and can't wait to find out if the kids will be getting a little brother or sister!! Madyson wants a sister but says "Whatever God wants is fine by us right Mommy?" Which just cracks me up because I always say to the kids The Lord knows whats best for our family!

We have still been really busy re-arrangig around the house a bit but there is still so much to do good thing Im only 13 weeks! Oh I just trash picked the best find! I'll post more pic's up later of before and after! It's such a neat peace I dont know quite where I'll put it but it's a neat little piece! I think I'll head to the hard ware store tomorrow for some sand paper and a bottle of spray paint! I'll leave the a mystery so it's a mystery to us too!!

I can't wait to get the summer started! I've been busy trying to plan out our days between "the Cove" and play dates and boardwalk nights and such!! Maybe even alittle camping trip or a little get away! We shall see!!! We do wanna have the family and friends over for a "Smore Night" but thats to be plannes also!

Pregnancy Pimples!

First of if most of you haven't heard, Jayson and I are expecting Baby #3 in Dec so that puts me at 11 weeks now! But this is my 1st pregnancy where I can say I am breaking out so bad! My face has all these little pimples on them and they are driving me insane!! I haven't changed my routine as far as washing or anything although maybe I should or is it time to try Pro-Active? I used it in high school and it worked great I have never been one who say I suffered terribly with acne but as a women , don't all of us dislike having pimples?? This is driving me nuts!! Since I already have 1 daughter and 1 son, I have NO clue what this baby is and so far no clues point either direction! I guess it's true what they say about EVERY pregnancy being so incredibly different! I hope I didn't gross anyone out but this is just on my mind !!

On a lighter and less gross note, We have been doing some serious re-arraigning! I feel like it's been forever since I even last posted! But we defiantly have moved our bedroom downstairs. We were able to give away a ton of toys via Free-cycle! Have anyone used it?!? Its a yahoo group and they are pretty local in every area but its a great thing, you post what you would like to get rid off of what you are in need of or would like, and people get back to you and they come to your house to pick it up and u just leave it outside on your porch or grass or whatever it's great! Then when you receive something you do the same thing! It's great! Oh I recently posted that Jayson and I would like a contained Fire pit thing or a chiminea , and if anyone is getting rid of them we would glady come and pick it up , well 2 days later someone emailed me and said they had one and we scored this awesome contained fire pit!! It's fabulous! So far we have enjoyed some nice family time out in the back yard enjoying it!! A friend of ours who I do hair for , have older children now and had a wooden swing set and offered it to us and they graciously gave it to us! How awesome is that? Isn't so amazing and cool to see god provide not only our needs but our wants as well?? I'm so thankful for all of our many blessings!

Since it's a nice rainy day out I am hoping to do some serious cleaning out of our back room today! Well I'm hoping but we will see I 've been dying to get back there and do some serious over-hallen but who knows what the kids will let me do it or not! Here's hopin'!

Spring re-arranging!

Ahh Who doesn't Love spring?? Our family Absolutely LOVES Spring and we just LOVE to be outside!!! But I'm really talking about our home and sprucing it up a bit!!! We have a split level house so as of right now all of our bedrooms are upstairs so 3 bedrooms and a full bath and on the the 2level or the main floor is Living room dining and Kitchen and on the 1st floor or downstairs where u come in is what we use presently as our Playroom, Laundry room storage area and another full bath! So after much thought Jayce and I thought it would best if we moved down stairs for a number of reasons One being it's the coolest area of the house and if you know my husband you would know that he DOES NOT like to be hot, not even in the least bit, so by moving down to the coolest part of our home it may help our air conditioning bill also! But there are so many things that need to get done in order for us to move down stairs like where are we going to store the toys, and I think presently we will move it in to our bedroom upstairs until I get the kids bedrooms ready for some toys! Just the thought of all there is to do is a bit overwhelming but I know it will all get done it will just take some time! Then we would like to paint also downstairs but then again we can wait for all of this it will just take some time!!

Also We have a big bay window in our Living room and the curtains I have up now were only suppost to be Temporary and here we are 3 years later in our home and they are still up HaHa! SO I finally found something i wanted so now all I have to do is find the fabric and with the help of my Lovely Mother in Law She's going to teach me how to do it! I'm very excited about Learning how to do it!!

These past few weeks have been mighty expensive I must say and busy busy!! In a few weeks we are having a Bridal shower for one of my dearest friends who happens to be marrying Jayson's cousin!! I can't wait! Mady and I are both in the wedding and are so looking forward to being apart of their special day!!

Tonight we are having dinner with some friends of ours from Church and another fellow MOPS Mommy! We are really looking forward to it!! I was even able to find a babysitter at virtually last minute! SO much more exciting to go out without the kiddies!

Okay enough blogging right now, b/c I need to clean up a bit and do some more Laundry.....does it ever end?!?! While my little man is a sleep!!Have a blessed day!!

As Easter Appraoches

Lately I have had a heavy heart as Easter approaches. Just really thinking about the things that took place this week hundreds of years ago. I just can't take my mind off of Good Friday and the Sacrifice that Jesus made for all of us, but more personally It's hard to believe that Christ loved us all this much and the fact that he knew that he had no other choice, In Luke 22: 39-46 Jesus says while he was on the Mount of Olives Jesus knelt down and prayed "Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. On reaching the place he said to them "Pray that you will not fall into temptation." He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed "Father, if you are willing to take this cup from me; yet not my will but yours be done and an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him and being in the anguish he prayed more earnestly and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples he found them asleep exhausted from sorrow, "Why are you sleeping?" He asked them . "Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation."

It just always gets me when he asks God and says to him "Father, if you are willing to take this cup from;YET NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS BE DONE" Wow, it's always gets me. It think each year it gets harder and harder for me to even imagine as I grow in a deeper relationship with God. As a mother it gets me really gets me, but now with our son I believe it hits me even harder....Check out this video and see what I mean! Busy, Busy!

As you can probably guess things around here have been busy busy!! We've had some pretty fun yet pretty busy weeks! I think it may stay this way for the spring!! Today we are hanging at at home and doing some cleaning and just enjoying the day around the house!! Hopefully we will be getting outside in a bit also! It's warmer today then it's been in just about a week! So we need to get out and take advantage especially since the forecast for this weekend is rain! :-( On Saturday we have a wedding to go to so my parents are coming down and hanging out with our little ones while we go! I'm looking forward to it! A ton of our friends will be attending this wedding so it should be lots of fun!! I do feel badly for my mom though with the rain it seems like unfortunately she will not be able to get outside, which is one of things my mom LOVES! She loves taking the kids outside and for walks!!

I finally got the kids Easter outfits together! Mady girl just needs some crisp white shoes, and Bryce is got everything! They don't exactly match exactly how I would've wanted. (Does anyone else have that problem with opposite sex children?) I didn't even have to go out and buy Mr. Bryson anything! Thanks to the hand-me-downs form my sis-in-laws he has some very cute stuff!! Mady I was able to get the exact dress I had in mind, but luckily found it for a lot less than i originally saw it for!

Ever wish you had a money tree in the backyard? I sure do! the next few weeks are going to be a little expensive for us! A lot is coming up! Like the wedding this weekend, I'm in a wedding in May so the bridal shower is in April and Madyson is also in the wedding so we have to get her dress/shoes and my shoes we have the dress, not to mention our car insurance premium is due at the end of April, oh fun fun! But yet excited about how I know God will provide! He always does one way or another! Love seeing him work!

Mops is going well keeping busy and a lot of Mommy's have been regularly attending! It's been such a joy to see God working this year and I'm so thankful to be part of such an amazing Steering Team! Every Mom on there works so hard and we all work together really well! I'm so thankful for them and their willingness to help! On a more personal note, I'm am so thankful for the call from God to step up and co-coordinate Mops this year! It's been such a blessing for me to see Mommy's change or grow closer to our Lord! I feel like it's helped give me the tools to be a much more organized Wife, Mother for our own home and family! It has given me the confidence within myself to step up to the plate so to speak and be the women/Mom God has called me to be! It's give me self confidence and for that I thank our good Lord everyday for!

If you could all keep my little Bryce in your prayers he is having a minor surgery done on Tues the 31st. I know it's a rather common procedure, He's getting Tubes in his ears b/c he constantly has fluid in his ears and it cannot drain properly so that leads to his chronic ear infections!! I am very Thankful that he hasn't had any in the last month since we took a trip to Philly to see the ENT! Even though its very common, we are still praying for the doc's and Bryce on that day! It's scary when it's your little one! In the whole sceam of things we are so grateful that this is all our children have had to go through and it seems silly almost asking for prayers for something like this when there are children and families going through way more difficult things than Tubes in his ears!

This year we are hoping to expand our Veggetable/fruit Garden and make our little garden area much larger! Jayson's Mom's church had a flower sale/Veggie plant sale, and I am glad that they are having it again this year and we are able to pre-order the things we want! So it was nice to be able to support a fellow church and get some plants to start our garden started!! We also have been doing a lot of yard work!! Hoping to our back yard looking great this summer!! It's always a challenge for us our yard is a great size but we have a lot of trees so its' been hard to get them all collected!! But we are getting there!! Also the people who we purchased the house from 3 1/2 years ago hadn't done anything in the yard in a few years so we've been busy for the last 3 years trying to get it where we would like it to be! In the front I susaly just mulch and plan some anuals! I always get like 4 hanging Ferns for the front of our house!! Love the way that looks!! This year we are hoping early june to purchase some flowers that will come up every year for our back yard! so then maye we will only have to mulch also!! Catching Up!

Wow I didn't realize a whole month had gone by so quickly! So let me play catch up! Let's see, Jayson and I just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on the 16th of this month!! It's crazy how fast time flies!! We are going out tonight for alittle date!! I think we are going to head to the Pier at Ceaser's for some nice quality Starbucks time and a little shopping!! We'll probably check out the light so again as usual! It doesn't matter what we do as long as it's together and we try to do something with out the kiddies! it's nice to ge ta little break every now and again!! It's hard to things during week, we are just so busy, between Jayson working, Mady having dance, things with church it's just is hard to fit everything in!! Can't wait to go!

The kids are both doing well!! Bryce says so much and he's only 19 1/2 months old!! Here's just a short list....
Book, boat, ball,dog, cup, truck, car. eyes, nose, mouth, ears, head, hair, ma-ma for Mady, Momma, Dadda, Mom-Mom, Pop-Pop,. Nana, K-k (for Aunt Kerry) Eli for his cousin Elijah, Gus for uncle gus, Gace for Aunt Grace, Sue, Sue for aunt susy! Jy for Jyden his cousin, more, pleese, thank u, row row for row row row your boat, itsy bitsy, for itsy bitsy spider, Boz, for boz the bear, up, down, no, Mine of course he would learn Mine, and the list just seems to go on and on..He's got a great vocabulary, he's is such a little snuggle bug, and loves his momma and dadda, will just sit and snuggle forever!! He loves his blankie at bedtime as well as his Binky! He misses his sister terribly when she's a friends house or just the other night she spent the night and Nana and popie's (Jayson's Mom and dad) and he didnt' quite know what to do with himself!!

Madyson is keeping really busy as well! She's been to a ton of birthday parties, which she just enjoys so much!! Infact tomorrow after church we have a birthday party and it's a mad-hatter tea part like from Alic in Wonderland! but it should be lots of fun, It's a little girl from dance class!! She is sooo into Dance!! She absolutely loves it! Luckily it's been warmer out and she's been enjoying playing outside and riding her new Cinderella bike my mom and dad got her for her birthday! She is my little helper!! She loves to set the table, which is now one her chores, she knows when it's time to start cleaning up and is my little schedule keeper! Always know what's next and enjoys just begin with her momma!! We've also been baking tons lately and doing some crafts!! WE cut out hearts and decorated them for Valentines day and hung them up around the house for Valentines day! SHe loves glitter so anytime we get a chance to use some glitter she's a very very happy camper!! It's getting to be almost St. Patti's Day so we are going to cut out some Clover's this week and decorate them! with glitter and hang them up all around, we have a big bay window in our living room and we enjoy decorating that depending on the season or holiday!

I've been keeping busy with the kids things, and MOPS of course! It's a busy time of year for us as we are preparing for our Spring Tea, and our annual Easter Egg hung outreach!! It's been a great outreach for our group to do, and it brings a lot of people in the community out and we offer lunch of hot dogs and we all bring sides and drinks, and we also have a lesson time we usually do the Easter egg story and how each egg represents Jesus or the things leading up to Easter! Then of course we are also busy with home fellowship and Jayson is serving at church and the list seems to go and on! We are hoping to sneak away sometime this spring just the two of us to get a way and spend some nice quality time with one another!! We've only been away i think 2 other times since Madyson has been born just the 2 of us! So it's something we are really looking forward too as well! We will probably head to Lancaster, Pa, since its always fun to do a little shopping as well, My friend Liz was just out there and said there is a really good Pottery barn kids outlet, so thinking that may be fun to look at!!

Well i better get off this computer i need to head to the produce place and get some things for lunch and some fresh fruit and veggies! We have a busy weekend ahead of us between a bridal shower today, and our date tonight, and tomorrow we are serving at church and then off to Mady's little friends' birthday party! Should be fun but Busy! Praying for you all !!

Isn't it the worst?

Isn't it the worst when you have a little one sick? My Bryson is sick, He has a cold, suffy nose running a slight fever, coughing but the best part of him being sick is the extra snuggle time we have together!! It's like Yet he is feeling just aweful it still warms my heart that he is still my little snuggler! I must say though both my children are big BIG snuggley kiddies! Thank goodness!! Bryce is known on both My side of the families as well as Jayson's as our little snuggler, He is as cuddly as can be, and is a MOmmy's boy except when Daddy's around and then he has a hard time choosing which one he wants!! I think these sick times are precious! Of course It's so sad to see your little one suffer but its so precious because it provides us Mommy's all those extra snuggles that keep us and the kids going! There is something about your Mommy and being sick that just helps! I must say I miss all the spoiling my Mom did when we were kids and sick! It was nice to lie on the couch and read books and watch tv and get things served to us! Haha now we do it to our kiddies!

Also it's this time that reminds me to Thank Jesus for our precious Children and how much they mean to us and how special they are!!

New Year New Habbits!

Happy new year Everyone! A few weeks late, but it works!! SO this year I have decided new year new habits!! That is for my whole family and so far it's been quite successful! First and foremost I have decided to strengthen my relationship with the Lord as i commit to every year! It's not that I have fallen at all I just want to fall more and more in Love with Jesus! Does that make any sense? Secondly I have started yet again exercising and I used to hate it Loathe it, I mean LOATHE it, but recently I have really been enjoying it!! I have been doing Leslie Sansone's walk away the pounds 3 mile walk and let me just say I LOVE IT!! I have over the last 2 1/2 weeks have been doing 3 times a week, I hope to get to the point where I am exercising 5 times a week with this! I'm in a wedding for Jayson's cousin's Rich (his fiance' is one of my very best friends) and that is absolutely great motivation but also b/c I wanna get healthy for me and also my family! I also have been trying to get up before the kiddies wake up and as Jayson is leaving/getting ready for church, but it is too hard so far! Simply b/c Bryson's sleep habits are pretty good, but he does still occasionally get up! So I am bit sleepy!! But if i can't get up I do it about 1 pm in the afternoon, once Bryson is sleep and I set Mady up with an art project or her doll house or paper dolls or something, and I go down to the play room and pop in the dvd! It's been really great! I have so much more energy and I'm generally a lot happy, Not that I wasn't before but I don't know I can't explain it, it's just good! Also we have been eating much healthy I'm buying less and less junk and it's been really good for our whole family!

This year started out a little Rocky! On Sunday Evening when I was on my way to a friends to start to plan Misty's Bridal Shower I made a left hand turn to go down that friend's street and a car stuck me, It was horrible horrible experience! Unfortunately I did have Madyson with me, but fortunately i did not have Brycer's kand the car hit on what would've been his side, The Explorer is not drivable and now I'm in the process of doing all that fun insurance stuff! But on positive note the lady who hit me was a Christain and she was fine and we were ok, shaken up but fine, and I had a beautiful moment with Mady, I explained to her that Accidents happen and when we are scared we Always have to Stop and Thank Jesus for protecting us! I also went on to explain that Jesus will always protect us and always does no matter what, so we have been talking about this on and off since Sunday and I truly believe she understands! She's an awesome kid and we are so thankful that she loves Jesus so much already at the young age of 4! Our hope and prayer for her and Bryson and our other children in the future to come is that they Come into a personal Relationship with Him and Love him and follow him ! Do you want to know the most ironic thing about this whole situation, well maybe not ironic b/c We are Christians, but our Pastor title of his sermon that morning was "Blind Spots" I doubt that was for no reason huh?

Also I must share something that is heavy on my heart I am yet once again aching to have another child! But I am trying to focus on the Lord and pray and use this time to get things in order for another child, of course if Jesus were to bless us with one now we would be more than thrilled! But like myself Jayson is almost more anxious than I but we are trying to get some finance in order for we would have to get another vehicle such as a mini van why did we trade in our old one I have no clue, but we would probably need to do that! and get some room situations together and a few other things, we are trying to be responsible, but as a women i long for more children! Iam resiting on the Lord to help me wait patiently! Also I would also like to lose some weight also! So Praying these things can happen!!

Next Month on the 16th, Jayson and I celebrate our 7th Anniversary! We are so excited! It defiantly has been 7 great years! Our years have had some ups and downs but we are so thankful for many more ups than downs!!

Well I'm off to take a Shower before Mr. Man wakes up from his nap!! I hope you have a blessed day!!!

Christmas is coming!

I for one am super excited that Christmas is coming!! Which I know I blogged about preciously, but am I the only one who still has a ton to do and to shop for? I think I will be so much better after tomorrow, we have our MOPS Christmas tea!! I'm so excited for it! My good friend Sharon is singing and we have a fellow steering team member's mom coming to speak, so we have much to look forward too!!

This weekend we have had a crazy busy weekend!!Tonight Mady is being a sheep in Jayson's Mom's church's Dinner Theatre, yesterday morning we had practice for that, Jayson stayed at practice with Mady girl and Mr. Brycer's and I went did errand running spending some Mommy and Me time! It was crazy b/c life is sooooo easy with just bringing 1 child around!!WE went to walmart to get some things we needed and got gas by the way when I put $25 dollars in my tank of the Explorer it filled it up!! God is good!! it was between empty and a 1/4 of a tank!! Not so bad is it?!!? Then last evening we had our home fellowship CHristmas party!! it was so much fun!! Mady and Bryce had a blast! It was soo nice being with all of our friends and just relaxing enjoying fellowship and some good food!! Then we had Jayson's cousin Georgie come over to babysit so we could attend our friends Annual Christmas party!! we got home from that had a good time and I had to bake 2 happy birthday Jesus cakes for Mady's Sunday School class! ahhh today we had church ad I served at the 10 service with our 1 year old class! but this morning ihad to have some extra time to ice the cakes I made! This afternoon was back to Jayson' mom's church Zion UMC for more practice, Jayson hurt his back, Mady is asleep Brycers just woke and the dinner theatre tonight! Tonight I need to print up the Candy Cane story about how it relates to Jesus and get mini candy canes for the Moppet classes and get everything together for the Tea tomorrow! hopefully we slow down a little bit this week! Although Tuesday night we have the 20 something party and Wednesday evening I have to do some hair! Thursday is Mady's dance class so maybe during the days we have some time to relax also!!! Just writing it down makes me feel a little better it's like i got the craziness off my chest!! You all must think I'm crazy!

On another note the past week or so in my quiet time with the Lord I have been reading over and over the story of the birth of Jesus in Luke and the birth of John the baptist and honestly every time I read the stories whether it be daily or every other day It's like the Lord teaches me something different or God reveals himself more and more to me! It's incredible!

Well I need to get going! I have some laundry I need to put into the dryer and start getting things together for tonight!! Hope you all have a blessed day and praying the Christmas story in Luke touches you as much as it has touched me!!

So I feel like I haven't blo'gged in forever but honestly there has been a lot going on not stuff for Christmas thats coming up this weekend and then forever after that. It's been crazy just doing every day stuff....I've been babysitting a friend of mine's little boy 4 days a week and things get crazy around here, She goes out on Maternity leave on the 15th so then life may get back to a little normal! It's been great money for Christmas and stuff and I'm going to miss having that cash but I'll be glad that life gets back to normal a little bit, like being able to go out when i want and such!

I haven't done as much Christmas Shopping as I would've liked to by now but I have a few people done and Mady is done, Bryce I still have a few things to get him, and a ton more to go!but I'm not worried it will get done!

Meal planning is going well! I'm excited to have done it for 2 weeks at this point! Ha! I've been praying that the Lord would help me with different aspects of organizing and he has surely helped!!! Jesus has been doing so much in our lives and am so greatufl for all he has done and continues to do!

WE had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! WE went up to Ocean Grove and spent it with my parents and family it was awesome! Good food good company! WE got to do things we used to do as a kid, like decorate the church I grew up in St. Pauls' UMC in ocean Grove! IT was so fun to do it again, my parent shave done it since I was a little kid. Mady and bryce came and had fun running round and Mady helped a bit too! Jayson and I did a lot of the lifting and decorating with my mom dad and Aunt Sharon and Uncle bob! It was fun! On Sunday we obviously went to parents church Sunday morning and Brycer's was sitting on my mom's lap and right in front of her was her brother Bob my uncle and Bryce says during the prayer "Bob-Bob" "Bob-Bob" it was so cute and defiantly made my Uncle smile and he sat with him for a while too! fun times!!

Now we are just preparing for the MOPS Christmas Tea! We can't wait! We have some awesome things planned!!! I'm working on getting some give aways together, going to different place and trying to see if they will donate something for our mops group! I'm really excited to hear our friend Deanna's Mom speak! Also my dearest friend Sharon will be singing as well! What an exciting time we have planned!!!

I absolutely LOVE Christmas!! Other than Easter it's pro bally my most favorite time of year! Jayson also! I love everyone that reminds me of Christmas, cold weather, hymns, lights, church everything! We have been talking alot about what Traditions we want to have with our own (meaning the 4 of us) Christmas this year!! We both grew up in Christan homes and we both having come from large families have alot i mean ALOT of traditions, for example, for those of you who don't know I grew up in a really small town in Central New Jersey called Ocean Grove only 1 square mile! A truly amazing experience! IT's most commonly referred to as God's square Mile, It's by orgin is a Methodist Camp Meeting Association and has been for the last Over 100 years!! Well every Christmas eve for as long as I can remember and pro bally before that we have in our family always had the same traditions, we spend most of the day at church, and after the family service we go home get all bundled up and go to "Fireman's Park" Which is basically in the center of town right on main street, and we all wait for Santa to come in on the fire trucks! Now growing up as a Volunteer Fire Fighters daughter we used to after we were too old to wait for Santa We would ride in with our dad on the trucks and help give out the little gift which is always the same every year an apple, orange, hard candy, and luden's cookies!! they always have hot apple cider there also and we sing hyms and pray and then santa comes in! What a fun time!! Now probably 7 years now my dad is the big guy LOL Santa! It was first really weird for my sister and I but now that I have my own kids I LOVE IT!! After all that excitement, my Parents have a HUGE open house and have tons and tons of friends, family over for a huge buffet dinner of Delicious Italian treats (being that my dad is 100 % Italian) WE can't have anything else but! But it just sooooooo fun!!! Santa always makes an appearance at the house afterward on his way to shut ins and the local nursing homes (there is 2 in OG) anyways its just a ton of fun and a ton of tradition!!

Now with all that Jayson and I have been talking with his sisters and his Parents trying to decided what to do on Christmas day with all of them! WE used to go to their house for breakfast, my mother in law makes homemade sticky buns that they let rise on the wood stove and some amazing casseroles and what not! Just soooooo fun!! But with all 4 kids and all us in laws plus 7 grand kids it gets crazy! Jayson's Aunt and Uncle just moved to North Jersey the last year or so and run a Christan camp up there, so they come down and have 4 kids of their own, and usually his other aunt and uncle come in too!! SO Last year it was insane and we had 2 less grand kids! So the girls and Jayce asked their mom and dad if they would in the morning come by to all of our houses and do a little thing with all of us!! So that lead us to thinking about our own Special activities!!!

We have always felt that Christmas has gotten out of hand as far as the society goes and how others view Christmas but for us it's all about Christ and really we want to give the day to him as always anyways! but I was thinking We still would Love to do Santa, so here's what we came up with!

As far as Christmas morn is concerned Jayson wants me to start doing a big breakfast with our family which truthfully I'm super excited about!! Now for the gifts for our Children, I heard a few years ago at our MOPS group right after I first joined, that the speaker gave each of her children only 3 gifts, because at the manager Jesus received 3 girts, Frankincense, Mehr and Gold! I thought what an awesome Idea, so we decided to do their big gift from Santa so only 1 from Santa and thier stocking and the 3 gifts would be from us! I think its awesome!! I hope that this truly teaches our children that Christmas of course isn't just about gifts!!! It's about our Lord and on this day he was born and becuase of his birth and death we can live forever with him!!

Truthfully also this makes Christmas a whole lot less stressed also, because your not worried about getting a million things and running around! I don't have the time or money!! SO please let me know your thoughts and your own tradtions!!

On Facebook, Last week I posted a status saying that I was menu planning, and some responses from my friends and I posted my last week menu items on there and I did the same also this week! Monday - Homefellowship, but I'm on main dish tonight, so I'm making 2 things, A quick easy MOPS favorite sauasage cassarole and a French toast cassarole

Sauasage Cassarole
1 lb bulk sauasage such as BOb Evan, or if your like me whatever is one sale!
4 eggs, beaten with salt and pepper splash of milk (like you are making a scramble eggs)
some shredded cheddar/jack cheese( any cheese shredded will do )
1 can of Bisquits, I actually use the one's from Aldi's they are the flacky ones they are the cheapest

brown sausage drain fat, while cooking sausage layer in 13x9 pan the bisquits but split them in half horizontally and but sausage on top, then cover with eggs and top with cheese bake uncovered for the direction on package of bisquits i have made it several times and need to just watch it sometimes it takes a little bit longer!

Tuesday - Leftover ham and homemade mac and cheese and fresh green beans

Wens. - Lasgana roll ups with turkey meat and sausage and ricotta, bread, and a big salad

Thursday, Crock-pot stew

Friday - Homemade pizza

Saturday - Some kind of chicken, I'm not sure what kind but I'll keep u informed

Sunday - we have 2 different thanksgiving meals, One at our church and i'm making stuffing, and then I'm making veggies for Jayson's grandpop's one

ALternate is Taco's! Jayson recommend that I have one alternate which is cool! ENjoy and let me know what you think!

Wow it's been forever since I have posted! I guess really because there really isn't too much going on! I've been sick, struggling with my asthma and Bronchitis s/p? That's been really tough not being able to breathe or kick the cold I had!! Amongst all of this my poor little man is cutting 3 of his molars! So their has been plenty of interrupted nights of sleep as well! I have recently started babysitting a friends little boy which is great, but a little overwhelming, b/c there still is lots to do around the house lunches to be made, cleaning, laundry, you know all the stuff that it takes to keep up with a house!

Recently I have had such a thirst to grow closer to God yet again! I must be truthful, I have not faithfully been in God's word Like i would have liked to, but I am one of those people that really absorbs it when I'm doing a study along with it, getting me conastly to look harder in his word and search, I don't know if anyone else is like this?! But it certainly works for me!

On Sunday afternoon Jayson and I actually got a chance to head out on alittle date to go see the movie Fireproof! It was incredible! One of the best stories and movies I have seen in a long time!! What an awesome encouragement to have!! Great testimony to God's unfailing love for us, and his will never to give up on us! Regardless! On that note we have been doing our study in our home fellowship group that goes along with the movie and it's awesome! I highly recommended it!

Lately I have really been struggling yet again with my issues of body image, and self worth! I truly know that my true happiness and peace with all my insecurities comes through the Love of Christ, but as a women especially after having my 2 beautiful children, let's just say things have certainly changed! I also think alot has to come with the fact that I haven't been in my exercise routine now for almost 3 weeks due to the bronchitis and breathing! It's been really tough on me and getting so discouraged is also not so much fun! Asking Jesus to help with this as well! Weight has unfortunately always been an issue for me, and Lately as I get a tad bit older it's a little hard to keep under control!! It's just hard subject for me right now! I'm praying that Jesus comforts me in this!

I can't believe it's a little more than a month and my little girl will be turning 4!! Wow how time flies, It always brings a tear to my eyes to think how fast my little ones are growing up! Iam so blessed to have been married to the love of my life true God fearing/wanting to please God man for almost 7 years!

Election party 2

So as you all know the outcome is Barak Obama! Scary isn't it?! In a way it's neat to have been here for such a historic election and It's very cool to have a black president. But it stops there!! As a Christian I can't help but lift up our country in prayer and pray that our new president seeks God out and pray that he truly has our best interests as Americans in his heart! I mean this election was especially scary for me since my daughter will soon be going to school and I DO NOT want sex education taught to her in Kindergarten! I am PRO LIFE.....as a Christian I believe you cannot be anything other than pro-life! My views are scriptural based. I believe that this country has gone through incredible hard times and we have a long road ahead of us...I'm praying that right decisions are made for us. I do have a sick feeling in my stomach and praying and trusting that God knows what he is doing and finding amazing comfort that regardless who our president is that God is sooooooo much bigger than that!!!

Election!!!!!!!

I can't believe all the talk that is going on about this up coming election. I knew that this was going to be an important election, but as a Christian, that is a Follower of Christ and someone who believes that the BIBLE is directly from the Lord and that it's God breathed I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I WILL be voting for McCain!! I personally feel especially after our Pastor's sermon that if even you are voting on the Abortion issue alone, scripture clearly states how WRONG it is and how much God disproves of it! Here are the major reasons I'm voting for McCain...

Job 31:15 "Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?

Psalms 139:13 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb."

Isiah 44:2 "This is what the Lord says , he who made you who formed you in the womb and who will help you'"

Leviticus 20:1-5 1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 "Say to the Israelites: 'Any Israelite or any alien living in Israel who gives [a] any of his children to Molech must be put to death. The people of the community are to stone him. 3 I will set my face against that man and I will cut him off from his people; for by giving his children to Molech, he has defiled my sanctuary and profaned my holy name. 4 If the people of the community close their eyes when that man gives one of his children to Molech and they fail to put him to death, 5 I will set my face against that man and his family and will cut off from their people both him and all who follow him in prostituting themselves to Molech.

These are some of the passages our pastor gave us! Most of them are on the Abortion topic. I can't even go in to the marriage aspect. Please...As I am sitting her typing this Jayson and I have on God Tv and we are watching the election special they have on and I must say it is awesome! They are encouraging people to pray and fast over the election, I do know that People will be praying and I hope all of you just search God and seek his heart! Not only in this election, but also in everyday becuase reguarless of the outcome GOd is the one who will stay constant and never changing, Let's face it neither one is perfect by anymeans and I agree with every single thing McCain says either, but Biblical I don't feel there is any other option!! I'm praying that you truly seek God and that this country truly seeks the truth!

2.) Especially thankful for Kleenex and Tylenol Cold! It's helped me get through to subside my symptoms so I can tend to the kids!!
3.) I'm thankful that my husband is going to the doctor this afternoon so he can get something to make him feel better!
4.) I'm so thankful for an awesome service at church yesterday check out our church at www.shorefellowship.com! It was an awesome series called "the Pretenders" Pastor Tim did a great job!
5.) I'm so excited that our church has a harvest party this Friday night! A safe place where the kids can dress up and play games, with good friends and fellowship!
6.) Even though it's rainy I'm thankful for a cool fall day! I do love fall so much!

Another week is upon us! Oh how time is flying these days! Here's my list!

1.) I am so thankful for a successful pumpkin picking day with the other Mommies at MOPS yesterday!! (some pic in the blog underneath) We all had an awesome time!
2.) This is going to be selfish so please forgive me but I'm so thankful for my 1 hour away to get a new hair cut!! I've lost a little weight and wanted to go to my old stylish ways before kids LOL!!
3.) I am soo thankful for these cool brisk days! The kids are having so much fun playing in the leaves and enjoying the time playing outside instead of sweating and getting eaten up by those pesky jersey bugs!
4.) I'm am sooo thankful for the night chats my hubby and I have been having! It's so nice to connect with him w/o the interuptions of the kiddies!
5.) I'm so thankful for the bills that need to be paid for that just deepens my faith in God and Knowing that with him All things are possible!
6.) I'm so thankful for our home! It's perfect for our family !! There's no place like home!
7.) I'm thankful for the couple nights I had of sleep since I have a 15 month old who is teething!!

Ahh It's finally Friday! It's been a long, yet quite busy week! It seemed like we had something everyday!! This morning I'm hanging around the house finishing up some laundry for the weekend, tiding up a bit and trying to figure out what to do this weekend! I'm hoping to go to a pumpkin patch, although, I'm not sure if we should, b/c on Monday we are going to a local farm for MOPS, so I'll see! I just love the fall! All it's crazy weather also! Or maybe it's just New Jersey Crazy weather!! Either way this is just my most favorite time of year!! Yesterday it was 84 degrees here and this morning I looked at the weather it's on a high of 61! Now that's my kind of weather! On Wednesday we went to our Wednesday Wave class at church where we are studying David, and mainly in 1st Samuel! I have so enjoyed it! I learn so much each week and it truly challenges me to dive in to God's word and just be so wrapped up in it and Love It!! This up coming week I hope to make more of my Hair bows to get ready for our Vendor's sale for MOPS. I have started making them mainly for my daugther because I was sick and tired of not finding any cute ones, but I have given them as gifts and everyone seems to like them, so we will see! I do enjoy making them!

I have also had a challenging week! I had a roller coaster of emotions! I have trying sometimes a little more successful than others but just turning to Jesus and giving it to him. Also like David did the Psalms, I have been just laying it all down and telling him exactly how I feel! He already knows what's going on with us anyways so it's much easier not to sugar coat it and express all of our emotions! I tried writing a Psalm this week as well and I must say It was fun! i don't know how non-believers do it! Some days the only way I know I make it through is by Jesus!!

On a more positive note Jayson is coming home early this afternoon from work! I'm super excited about it!! It's like he has a bit of a longer weekend! I hope you al have a wonderful weekend!! Enjoy all of God's wonderful blessings in your life! They are all gifts and I think to often we take for granted all the things that happen day in and day out!

Here we are another Tuesday and I'm excited to follow in Mrs. Brownstones' footsteps and follow doing the "Yet I"!!

1.) I'm a sinner Yet I'm thankful for God's everlasting Love and his endless grace!
2.) So sad my husband has to struggle with depression and so hard to watch him struggle Yet I praise Jesus for him and for giving him this incredible gift of Compassion!

8.) I have been waiting to buy this push car thingie for my son Yet I'm soo thankful God keeping me Patiant and not running out and just buying it because I got it in the trash! ( I know that sounds gross but believe me I clean it well before I let any of our little fingers on it!!) but also supplies our wants!
9.) I have been searching for curtians for our bedroom and curtian rods' but couldnt find anything I have liked Yet this weekend my girlfriend gave me me some and they are exactly what I was looking for and didn't know how well they work in our bedroom! I found curtain rods rod Iron looking ones for only $5 !! Love good deals!!
10.) Can't believe I try to handle things on my own! Yet I'm so thankful I have a Loving God that carries me through tough times!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry my list wasn't as cheery as it usually is! We are going through a rough time right now and I'm seeking and reaching out to Jesus because I KNOW he is going to get us through it!!! He's the only one who remains the same and is conastly lifting us up! We love you Lord Thank-You for always being here!

What a Fun Weekend!

We had an awesome FALL weekend we had! We went up to visit my family in Ocean Grove! We were lucky to have have Jayson's parents come up and his 2 sisters also! It was a blast! My dad was head of this Surf and Turf cook-off and Jayson was his right hand man and they had an awesome time! Then on Main street they had a fall crafter's kind of thing it was fun! The blocked off most of it and it was fun to walk around and had a blast! We were also able to go visit My Pop-Pop which we alway senjoy and I love that the kids get to see him and he gets to see them!! Please remember him in your prayers! Then on Sunday we got to worship at the church I grew up at!! Fun! Sunday afternoon was fun also! I did hair for one of my dearest girlfriends! She's almost like my big sister! I have always gone to her with just about everything and she is constantly been their and we just ahvea great times! Her kids are a little bit older than mine so they acutally are at the ages that her youngest and my oldest play and then the other 2 girls she has loves playing with Bryce! I love to be home but sad to be home! You have to get back into the grove of things! I'm so thankful for doctor's reminder calls! Somehow I totally missed the fact that Bryce has his 15 month appointment today! LOL so I'm off to that this morning as well as all the laundry, cleaning and unpacking that needs to be done after being away fora few days! It never fails! there is always something right?? 10 Things Tuesday!

I must say I look forward to this every week! It always reminds me to thank Our Lord for all the many wonderful things he has so graciously given to us!

1.) For such a fun and successful Mops yesterday! I'm so glad our Spa day went well! I was really looking forward to encouraging all the Mommies to spend some much needed time with the Lord! What a fun day! Thank you Jesus!
2.) For My hubby and all he does working 11 hour days so we can go away this weekend and he can take Friday off!
3.) So excited to spend the weekend at My parents!! Jayson is helping my dad with the town Fall Festival/Chili cook off! we are all so excited!
4.) My in-laws and one of Jayson's sisters are coming up and spending time this weekend with all of us! We are super excited!
5.) For my kids and how they always reminded me to have some fun! I truly enjoy them they are one life's Greatest blessings!
6.) For my girlfriends! All of them are amazing and I'm so grateful for each one of them! They are my best friends!!!
7.) For a day to just stay home and get things done! I have quite the catching up to do but a cool day is the perfect day to do it all in!!
8.) A friend of Mady's from dance class's dad (if that makes any sense?!) is able to fix our car it needs a left wheel bearing and is able to do it for a lot less then we were looking to spend! God is good!

I can't believe another Tuesday is here again! These weeks are flying by!! I love that this reminds me to thank God for all he has given to us! Enjoy!

1.) My husband, and children!
2.) For the play area in the mall, It's a nice free Alternative for winter and being able to get out of the house! (even though it's not quite winter yet we were there yesterday!)
3.) For both our families! I truly treasure my sister and all of his, They are all my best friends!
4.) For my dearest friends, they are always here !!
5.) For constantly knowing that God is in control!
6.) I seriously can't get enough of all this beautiful cool weather!!!!
7.) I've started making hair bows as a hobby for Mady and her friends! I was sick and tired of not being able to find cute ones for her!!
8.) For ordinary days! I love just going around and just enjoying days that have no plans what so ever! except u know laundry, meals, beds to be made and laundry to be done! I love it!
9.) I'm very excited and thankful for 1st Wednesdays services It's an awesome time to just sing praises to God and to have communion as a church family!

Fall I must say I just love Fall!!! I know I have probably metioned it like a 100 times by now, but today was such a fun day!! We live in a somewhat small town and we have a little main street with a park and today they had a Fall Festival, some food, vendors, a little train/tracker ride and despite of the overcast, it was so much fun! My parents came down which was so much fun to spend time with them, and we met Jayson's sisters Kerry and her family and Grace and her family and got to spend a little bit of time together! Mady was so happy to ride the train with Johnny and they got to play and walk around together!!! Then we just came home played outside a bit and then we were able to play take a walk and have some quality time with my Parents!! Did I metion that My Bryson is WALKING!!!!!!! It's so cute!!!! He is so excited and is getting more and more steady every day!! I must say I was not completely encouraging it when he was just a year but he is so ready now and has just taken off! You mommies of more than one understand what I mean but not ready to chase another so quickly!! I just had to blog about this wonderful day we had!!! It was so fun looking forward to more days like this to come!! I am so ready to go worship tomorrow!! I love worshiping Jesus! I can't wait to dig in to scripture some more!! I also am serving tomorrow in Nursery I do enjoy being with the "Turtles" We have so many people at church we had to split the nursery into 3 different rooms the first one is "Guppies" which is up to 1 year and then Turtles 1-2 and Starfish 2 years!! Then they move to the children's ministry building and they go on form there! So I'm blessed to be with those little ones! God is so good!! I have had quite the crazy day!! Lazy in a sense but Crazy if that makes sense!! I started off the day but doing my daily things like breakfast, getting the kids and myself dressed (in sweats due to the rainy cool fall weather!) Today being that it's Thursday It's sheet day and bathroom day...Then I was feeling incredibly ambitious and switched Mady's summer/fall cloths! wow that was a project especially since both kids were playing upstairs in the midst of all of this!! The I decided to tackle the dreaded laundry that i needed to put away in our bedroom!! So I actually was able to do all of that in the morning and manage to get to my friend Amy's house by 1:40 to get her Jaxon off the bus!! Stay with him till she got home at 3 and then get home and get Mady ready for Dance cook dinner and somehow cleanup some other things! This crazy day has me thinking about how i can't get through these days talking to Jesus! Also Our car has been making this weird what i call sound/noise and Jayce and my father in law thought it was the transmition, and this is God keeping us close to him and saving our wallets also, A friend of mine from Mady's dance whom we were in class last year and her husband happened to be there tonight, and he usually isn't anyways to make a long story short he's a mechanic and he works out of his home for friends and family and he is the manager at Saturn for the shop, so he tested the car with me during dance and he said it was the wheel bearing on the left side not the transmission! Got the price of the part and is only charging us like 100 bux for the labor! Thank you Jesus! It's alot cheaper then what we thought! See someway or another God always ALWAYS takes care of us! Being a stay at home mom is rough financially but is so worth every scarfice you have to make! I praise Jesus for the chance to stay at home and be with my children and take care of my husband he's an amazing father, provider, he has compassion, strength and courage that goes beyond words! I'm so blessed to have him in my life but espeically as my husband! Well I just thought I would share about what's been on my heart tonight as I unwind from my day! Enjoy!! God Bless!

1.) I am so thankful that Mady is back taking dance class! She loves it so much!!
2.) I am thankful for being able to take nice long walks in the morning while it is so cool out!!

Well it's almost 12:30 in the afternoon and here I am still in my PJ's my Mr. Bryson has a cold and was up like crazy last night and as soon as I got him settled around 1, then my Mady girl woke up who like never ever wakes up! Since it's been absolutely gorgeous out I have had the window's open and her allergies are driving her nuts she gets this cough from the dripping and it keeps her up! SO there we sat on the couch watching Wow Wow Wubbzy on Noggin' last night at 1 am! She was on the couch and I on the love seat trying to catch some z's OH well whatcha going to do!! That's a life of a mom!!! Since it's Thursday it's sheet and towel day in my house! So I have the sheets in the washer waiting for them to stop spinning to hang them on the line and Bryce is down for his nap! Then I'm off to clean my bathrooms!! Its the day for that as well! I had all these things I wanted to do like exercise which i think after lunch I will take the kids round our development and down to the play ground and then Madyson has her 1st dance class of the year today! She's so excited to start again and I can't wait to see her start up again she loves it!! I thought since i do 10 things to be thankful for on Tuesdays I would start this 13 things Thursday

Here we are and another week! I have so much to be thankful for this week!!
1.) Yesterday was our 1st MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) at church and my 1st year as co-coordinator and we had 28 Moms out! What a turnout!
2.) Praising Jesus for the cooler weather! Fall is coming!
3.) An awesome day at church on God is soo good!
4.) For God always providing what we need even when money is sooo tight!
5.) For the sunday school teachers at our church Madyson learns so much and this week she told us all about David and Beolith (Goliath!) she says it like that !
6.) For my amazing friends and how greatful I am to have so many girls in my life!
7.) For my kids and how the light up my life!
8.) For being able to hang my wash outside and not wasting energy/adding to the electric bill!

We go to an amazing church if you have time check out the website www.shorefellowship.com, we have been attending for about 3 years now! They have classes you can take called Wednesday Wave classes , so Jayson and I signed up, last semester we took Parenting 101 incredible, taught by Pastor Steven who is our family minister, this semester we are taking a class on David, lead by our head pastor's wife Donna....On a side note can I just tell you how in love with Jesus she is, she is such a God fearing loving women, she's awesome. We were completely blown away with the class. Now I have read the Psalms many times before but I must say I am in love with them now...If you don't know much about David here are just some basics:
*he was Jesse's son
*He slayed Goliath
*Bold, he was chosen by God to be king
*he was the youngest of 7 brothers
*Shepard
*Saul's personal Musician
*Man after God's own heart,
Lastly who can forget Bathsheba

Basically these are thing we know from Sunday school basics but a lot of times people don't know so I thought I would share. Now some things I didn't know, Did you know that more space was devoted to David than to anyone else in the bible? He has 66 Chapters devoted to him alone, Jacob had 11 and Eli had 10. Also That David was born in Bethlehem, and had a lot of similarities to Christ as well. The main thing that hit me last night and it was such a "God" moment for me was that Donna said that most biblical scholars believe that David suffered from Clinical Depression. Most of you probally don't know this but my husband suffers from Clinical Depression so this hit us like a ton of bricks. I am so thankful that God directed us to this class for that alone reason! I must say we were debating on a few classes and we prayed over then and both Jayson and I felt like God was directing us both to attend this one. The other classes we thought would be interesting, was Pastor Bill was speaking on the End times, Pastor Todd was doing the sermon on the mount, Pastor Steve was doing a class on the marriage you've always was wanted....So we mainly we deciding between the end times one and this one so we prayed over it and God directed us here! Last night we we went into 1 Samuel as well and that is another awesome book, it give you some background on David so it was awesome to refresh as well! I was just so refreshed and so excited to be with God as we read and studied last night, I can't wait to see what God has planned for us through this next 9 weeks!

On a side note things here have been great! Lately I have really been debating whether or not to start using Cloth diapers and wipes, I have seriously been praying over it because not to mention the cost factor but for Bryce his poor skin is so sensitive and has eczema pretty bad I wanted to see if this would make a difference, my doctor suggested it, so I prayed about it and started talking with some friends about it and Heather C. really helped me out and gave me some awesome pointers! It's been about 3 days since I have used them and it has been working out great! I hang my wash so It's been nice to do this, I feel like I'm honoring God by saving money and the environment not to mention Bryce's skin as well! Also I must say I LOVE making and using the wipes it's so simple I wish I did it earlier!! Other than that thins are great hear and I am so grateful to Jesus for all the many blessings he has given us but today I am most thankful for My husband and children, they are such a treasure from him and I feel so blessed to have them and to be sharing life with them!

Also being today is 9/11 I have been thinking a lot about the events that took place 7 years ago today, I remember being engaged to Jayson and we were planning our wedding and it was like time stood still on this day....Please say a prayer for the widows/family members of all those people who lost their lives 7 years ago today!

I absolutely love weekend's where you don't have anything planned yet things come up and you end up having such a fun weekend. On Saturday one of my best friends, Misty came over and spend the whole afternoon just lounging around and spending some much needed girl time together! Jayson got to take a nap, which he loved, and the kids just played happily/slept through the afternoon! It was a horrible day outside, it poured on and off throughout to whole day! Then Rich came over who is Misty's boyfriend/Jaysons cousin! So it was a fun dinner! On Sunday we went to church, can I just say how incredible our church is check out the website www.shorefellowship.com, I so enjoyed worhsipping Jesus and spending some time with our church family and listening to our Pastor Preach it was awesome! We've recently got a new worship leader and he is incredible! Yesterday afternoon did I mention I napped?? How did that happen?? My sweet hubby graciously gave me some time to myself and I enjoyed it so much!!! Then for dinner we went to our good friends Dave and Amy's house! Love them, we had so much fun just chilling out and relaxing not to mention the kids had a blast too! We have a busy week ahead of us but it should be a good one, I am looking forward to my sister coming down for a visit today so that should be fun , doing lots of hair this week 2 clients on Tuesday and 2 on Friday, Wednesday wave classes start up this week at church, we are signed up to do a study with our Pastor's wife on Daniel and the Psalms which I am really excited about! She is awesome!! So that is our weekend round up! Have a blessed week!!

Wow! I can't believe we are into Sept. Already! This summer has surely been a whirl wind....God has been so good! He has provided an awesome new opprotunity for Jayson and work which is such a huge blessing! He finally has a normal Monday-Friday 8-4:30. It's so much better for him and for our family! We had such a fun summer! Spent lots of time in my hometown of Ocean Grove, Celebrated Bryson's 1st birthday which I can't beleive, made some fun memories, new friends in our neighborhood, Grown closer to the Lord, grown closer as a family, Jayson's sister Kerry had a little baby girl Isabella, So much has happened in such a short amount of time! Now for the kids

Madyson has grown up in such a little amount of time, she had a blast this summer spending time at the cove, swimming at Nanies house, spending time at Mom-Mom's and Pop-Pop's , playing with her friends, Summer Princess Fairy Dance class........She especially excited that she is not the only girl on the Aspenberg side of the family! She absolutly adores her little new cousin Isabella and can't wait for her to start playing with dolls and put hair bows in her hair and paint her little nails! LOL I keep telling her it's going to be a long while until she will be able to do the nails! Madyson is like my little friend, we have Mady and Mommy time during the day when Bryce is taking his nap and she is such a help around the house! In the next few week I will be sorta homeschooling her preschool stuff during the year! I want to start teaching her more of her letters and do some art projects as well! We have a fun year ahead of us!

Bryson is such a fun little man! He is so sweet and is getting to be so much fun! He is almost 14 months old now and is almost walking! He has been taking steps now for almost 2 weeks but is a bit lazy about it! I must say I haven't been pushing him, I must say that I enjoy having my baby!! He always has smile on his face and says quite a bit, he say row row for the song "row row row your boat" and at the end of the song he says yeah and is claps his hands, he says ma for Madyson, Dadda, Momma, Boat, What's that?, ju for juice i think hes says alot for his age and it seems like he says a new word every few days!

I've been praying/researching on cloth diapering for him and "making" my own wipes! Bryce has such sensitive skin and I want to try to save money where I can and Ifeel like God has convicted me of this so I'll keep you posted on how things go, but I'm excited to try this and I firgure I hang my own laundry anways so it wont' be to bad! I have talked to my friends who cloth diaper and have researched it quite a bit, so please pray for me!

I've started a new devotional in the book of Isaiah and can't wait for what God is going to be teaching me through this study! It an exciting time! Also I am super excited for Mops to start I'm Co-Coordinator this year with a good friend of mine Liz, and we have some aweosme things planned! I've been diligently praying for the mom's that come out this year and hope/pray that God Brings some women to him, and strengthen others in the walk with him as well! I pray that this minsitry will Glorify him in all that we do!

We have so much to be thankful for and Thank him everyday for all he had done for us! Thanks for keeping intouch with our family ! I'll be writing soon stay tuned!!!

So it's a Saturday night and as a Mom I have/had big plans this evening, LOL NOT well if big plans you consider Watering the plants/vegetable garden, bathing 2 children, and ready books and prayers and cleaning up dinner unloading the dishwasher, showering myself before church tomorrow....well then Yes I have big plans, but as for others this probably sounds quite boring, but in fact it just the life of a mom! I must say though I am super excited about church tomorrow, our Pastor is starting a new series tomorrow "Shore at the movies" check it out at www.shorefellowship.com. He is taking popular movies titles that are out right now and relating them to the Bible/biblical principles! Should be lots of fun! Always excited to see what God has layed on the hearts of our pastors! This last series was incredibly inspiring, it was called One Prayer...you may check that out also on either our church website/the www.Oneprayer.com it was amazing!! I can't believe its the almost the middle of July already!! I hope to spend more days at the lake/beach with the kids, and possibly having a much needed date night alone with my husband! Praying God will provide an opportunity for us to get away for a little bit, but will see! Well I'm off to put my Madyson to bed, Bryce is already asleep! So Tonight...well tomorrow morning at 12:28 am will be My Bryson's 1st Birthday! I must say I have tears in my eyes while I'm writing this! It's so sad today because I can't believe a whole year has gone by already! Oh My how time just flies!! I'm so thankful to Jesus for Blessing us with both our children but on July 4th espeically my Bryson! He has brought such incredible Joy to our lives and is such a joy to be around! He is not quite walking yet but has begun walking around furniture for the last few weeks and just recently is enjoying being walked but us around the house and out places! He is so incredibly happy and just so sweet and cudily! He is for sure a Mommy's boy and still enjoys nursing quite a bit as well! I'm in no rush to give it up though so It works for me! He says Momma, Dadda, Ma for Madyson, nannnnna for bannanna , Nana, and gibber gabbers all the time as well! So Happy Birthday to my Big BOy! We love you sooo much and am so greatful for you and How you have blessed our lives!!! We can't wiat for your 1st birthday party sunday!! xoxo

HI all! It's been a while once again! Big things have happened with the kiddies since I last wrote! Maydson is quite the little girl! This past weekend we had the privilege of watching her in her very 1st dance recital!!! It was so awesome! It completely brought me to tears watching her up there on stage totally busting a move! She went out there and did such a great job!! I'll be posting some pictures soon! And if i can ever figure out how to youtube it I will!!! Bryson has started doing standing and walking along the furniture! He also has started shaking his head "no" we play this game and we do "Yes and no" He also does so big and is starting clapping and waving also! He is quite the little talkative guy! It's so funny because as soon as you put him in his high chair he starts screaming laughing and talking!!! It's so funny! He also is loving his bath! From the second he goes in until the second gets out he splashes!!! It's getting so easy not that they both bathe together! Today is also his 11 month birthday! It's hard to believe almost a year has gone by! It makes me a little sad to think he's getting so big! My baby is almost not a baby anymore!!! But he's turning into such a fun little man! It's so exciting because now it seems as though he does something new everyday! He also has these adorable curls in the back of his hair! Fun Fun! Madyson is signed up for summer dance class and she's doing a 6 week program and she's in the Princess Fairy class with her teacher who she adores and that's Ms. Holly! She's great with the kids! The funniest thing about it is she went to grammer school and high school with Jayson! Talk about a small world!! We are facing some other challenges right now, but am totally trusting the Lord on these things and scared in some ways yet excited in other ways to see where God may take us! I know he has amazing things planned for us , but are learning more and more just to give it up and trust him! This weekend we will have a fun filled weekend We are going to good friends of ours wedding this weekend Tony and Jenna on Saturday and on Sunday is Jayson's 30th birthday!! We aren't having anything to big, but some friends and family over for a dessert party to celebrate!!! Should be a lot of fun! WE are looking forward to spend time together with everyone!! Well Spring has sprung! I'm so glad to see those winter days behind us! As spring is upon us, thinking of rebirth is on my heart! Rebirth in Jesus that is! Spring is such a wonderful time to reconnect with our God and start fresh! Recently there has been alot on our hearts as a family and a couple! A lot of searching and seeking as far as God's will for our life! We are trying to decided where to go from here as far as careers go! We definalty are just totally trusting God and his will for our life! Now for an update on my kiddies! My Mady girl and my Mr. Man Bryce had thier check ups! Mady a little late for her 3 year one but just a year from her 2 year one and My Mr. Man had his 9 month! He has only gained 6 ounces in the last 3 months but has grown almost 2 inches! He started out way off the chartsand now is in the 75 % for his weight and 50% for his length and head! So he's doing awesome! He is crawling all over the place sitting up from crawling, pulling the video and dvd drawer open pulling himself up on everthing he is just awesome! He also had his 2 bottom teeth and the doctor said his top gums were swollen so in a few weeks we should expect more teeth!! My Mady girl has grown on leaps and bounds! SHe has gained 6 pounds over the last year and has grown 4 1/2 inches! She is back up to the 90% for height and weight! So she is doing awesome! She's in dance class once aweek every thursdays and loves every minute of it! She takes the variety class and does ballet, tap and tumbling! She is in awe ofdance! It was such an awesome decision to enroll her! She is an amazingly sweet and lovable kid! she's an awesome helper and a complete people pleaser! She loves her brother and would do nother more than just play with him, She so enjoys church and her sunday school class! She looks foward to that and the kids' service one sunday night a month! Jayson and I started our vegtable and fruit garden today! We bought organic soil again this year and got some neat organic seeds! Lowe's had them! The soil we found again at walmart for an wesome price! We bought little plants or red peppers bananna peppers, tomotoes, blueberries, strawberries, basil and itlian flat leaf parsley! SO that should be a good hearty garden this summer (hopefully) ! Save us money and eat nice healthy organic veggies and fruit! Good for us and our family! WE have yet again to start letting mr man fall esleep on his own! IT's so hard, but I spoke to the doctor and aI'm glad that we are doing it because we didnt do it with mady until she was a year and a half and that battle went on for about a year trying to get her to go to bed on her own and that was such a struggle! Today, being that it is good friday has me thinking alot about the events that took place over 2000 years ago, about what was going through Jesus' mind knowing the events that wer about to take place. Thinking about Mary his mother and the pain she was about to expierence watching her sone die for the sins of everyone that oneday we could all have eternal life with God up in heaven. Thinking about that 2000 years ago Jesus was hanging on the cross for my sins that one day so I could spend eternity with him. When I say I, what i really mean is wel all of us, with each nail that went in to his hands and feet was for us and our imperfections, Very heavy things if you really sit down and think about it! I guess what brought this on was today we went to the church for our annual Easter Egg Hunt, and Pastor Steve our family pastor at our church told the story of the reserection eggs, if you have never seen it i encourage you to look it up its neat! Anyways and seeing the strip of leather reminded me of how many times Jesus was beaten and not for his sins, He had NO sin he was PERFECT! But for us and our IMperfections, crazy to think that he did tha tall for us! And just simply given to us as a gift, because he LOVES us that much and God wants it for all of us!! Just by asking Jesus to come into our hearts and live in us and just like that we have a promise of eternal Life. Amazing God is so awesome and loves us sooooooooo much! Just a thought ! Over the next few days take some time and Meditate and look up some verses in the bible and read different accounts of the disciples and what went on! Join me, I'm going to spend some extra needed time with the Lord and thank him for all he has given us espeically the gift of eternal life! As we spend time with Loved Ones take in every second of that it's so precious!!! Happy Easter !

so long since last post!

Hello everyone! Man it's been a while! Let's see so much has happened since I last wrote, let me get your caught up on the kiddies! My Madyson turned 3 at the end of December! Man does time fly! She is an absolute joy and such an incredible little girl! She is all girl! She loves to play dress up and dolls, barbies, picking out her own cloths and absoutly is a cuddle bug! She is such a blessing to everyone! She goes to dance class every thursday from 4-5 and loves it!!! She surely is my little helper also! She helps me with laundry dinner, she loves to set the table! Loves her little brother also! Bryson who we call either Bryce or Brycers is now 8 1/2 months old! Is absolutly love ! Let's see he eats 3 meals of babyfood a day mostly homemade, but still is addicited to nursing, sometimes he would rather nurse then eat food, and he has in the last 2 weeks started crawling fowards...he has been crawling backwards for quite some time, but man he has taken off! We live in a split level house so it was quite a challenge to find a gate that would fit our stairs! But luckily we did just in the nick of time! He is into everything! he climbs up on the entertainment s/p center and tries to pull him self up or gets in to the video drawer...gotta watch everything he does he also is getting to be not so good of a sleeper these days, I think he may be trying to cute a tooth! On his 8 month bday we got our first tooth on the bottom so exciting! He talks all the time he says dadda momma (very rarely) nana, and makes all kinds of funny noises with is mouth! At his last well doctors visit (6 months) on Jan. 4ths he weighed in at 22 lbs 2 oz. He is in the 98% percentile and he had a sick visit in the middle of last month for an ear infection and he was up to 23 lbs 2 oz so in a little over a month he is still gaining steadily! Let's see I've been having fun with friends from church, keeping the house going, and doing some hair aswell! I'm on the steering team for mops at our church (mothers of preschoolers) and that is going really well! We just had our MOps swap which was fun, you bring things you no longer want nor need and you swap with other moms, so its a good way to recyle your things as well as get somethings you may want or need! On friday we have our annual Easter Egg hunt and lunch! Jayson is keeping busy with work and school and helps out on the media department at church, Here's our church website aswell check it out, www.shorefellowship.com and we just found our that our church is going to metioned in an upcoming book coming out next mont I believe called "Pop Goes the Church" so exciting! In the last month God has been teaching me alot, espeically about time management...Puting things first but yet always getting everything done, and that such a good feeling espeically with 2 kids its hard at times! The other thing the Lord has been laying on my heart is a challenge that our pastor gave us a little over a month ago ... in one of his sermons he gave u s a "who's your in your 5" card. It's kinda like the T mobile commericals that say you can call any 5 people on any network for free, well he gave us a sheet that looked just like the one on the comerical and said who are five people you can invest in, 5 people you can pray for daily invest in their lives and get to know better and bring them out to chruch .....so I prayed and I put 5 people on my list....in a couple months God has not only reminded me pray for them, helped me find time to invest in them, and 4 of them have been out to church. One just this last week! It's so amazing the opprotunities God gives you! He is such an awesome God!!! I have learned to trust God so much through this. A few people I was scared to write down simply because I didnt know if I had the boldness......but through prayer God has not only provided the opprotunities to let his light shine, but giving me the right words to say and has put verses in my mind that I didnt even knew I remembered!! God is so good!!! Well dinner is ready so I better get going! HOpe God is doing as many amazing things in your life as he has in ours! God Bless!!

Wow it's been a while! I hope everyone had a wonderful Blessed Christmas! We sure did! God has been so good to us and remains so constant in our lives! Mady is now a big 3 and Bryce is now almost 7 months! Oh my how the time seems to fly! Things have been a little rough financially but God seems to meet us there every time! When things get rough God seems to be there and meet us just where we need! He never ceases to amaze us! My kids are so amazing and continue to teach me! Ever wonder why there isn't enough time in the day to get all the things done that need to be done! I never did until our little ones came along! Each day I am learning more and more how to meet the needs of my hubby and kids! I also through all this have in return have been learning so much about myself as well! Right now I am praying about how to simplify my life even more to try to cut costs! I love being home and am willing to do whatever it takes to stay home! I feel like half the problems with kids is there isn't parents around enough to be there and time for them, that kids are able to do what they want when they want! Jayson and I have a strong belief in that! Well I will blog more later Bryce is down for his morning nap and I'm dying to take a nap!!! God Bless!!!

The loss of a good friend

This week was incredibly hard one for me! I lost an extremely good friend of mine this week to cancer! Jeremy was such a amazing person!! Man did he love the Lord.....Jeremy lived an amazing life. I was blessed to know him for most of my life...We met in Sunday school when we were probably in the 4th grade!! We went not only to church but also school , we graduated together spent all of our summers in Ocean Grove, my home town, doing plays sitting on the beach and spending time with loved ones, friends! The more I think about his life, and the more I think and reminisce about all the fun times we had the more I remember that he didn't lose to cancer he won! He isn't suffering anymore and he is where we will be one day because he had Jesus in his heart and he committed his life to the Lord! He did have some times that he strayed but when the cancer came he turned back to the one thing he knew he could count on and the one thing and person that remains constant in our lives regardless of the choices we make and that is God!! His funeral was one of the most awesome funerals i can say I have gone to in a long time. It celebrated his life, his love for music and his love for God and his amazing out look on life....His cousin spoke and gave awesome testimony of how he spoke to Jer in the last 2 weeks of his life when he knew that his road was coming to an end and how Jeremy just beamed when he spoke about God and how important and easy it was to have God in his life...How easy that made me think it is easy to have him in our life, but yet on a day to day how easy it is to go on and not to think. It made me think about how many people just go on day by day and how they just don't' think about the Lord or even bother to pray or read scripture....I need to dig in to the Word more and more and how with 2 kids how much more I need God more then ever!! I am absolutely blessed to able to stay home...How awesome it is to just be there everyday for my family my kids and how greatful I am to just do the day to day things, such as keep the house make meals and do laundry and most importantly take care of my Husband and my children!! How blessed I truly am! Jeremy's funeral reminded me how short life truly is how how important it is to truly live life to the fullest , but in a God centered way! To take advantage of all that God has given to me .... I feel truly blessed to have Jeremy be a part of my life and to know him not only as a friend but as a brother in Christ!! Father Thank you so much for the life of Jeremy how many lives he touched by his music his smile and his love for you God, you are awesome and thank you for the awesome memories we were able to share Lord you are amazing and thank you for reminding me through Jeremy how much you have given to us and just how to smile and things seem a little better!!! In your sons' precious and holy name! Amen!!!

Good Morning!

Good Morning!! While the rest of my family is still sleeping, I decided to get a head start on things and get my day going! I love Sundays ! I so look froward to going to church, as does my family! Mady absolutely loves her sunday school class and can't wait to go every week! She is learning so much about God and makes projects/crafts every week! I guess the reason I love sundays so much is because it's a family day and mainly we get to go worship the Lord and give thanks and just be in his presence! There is something so sweet about being in church and feel like he is right there! The spirit is sweet!! My continuous pray is that God allows me to feel his spirit all week long! Unfortunately with 2 kids not that this is an excuse but I some days I just can't find the time to get into the word! So I decided I need to start getting up earlier and making that a priority! God has graciosuly given us so much and I can't find 15 minutes to give back it's pretty sad! So please pray that I put him first!!! My kids are amazing! Madyson is growing up so quickly! She's such a sweet little girl! About a month before we were due to have Mr. Bryce, we noticed she was sort of lashing out a bit toward her friends/cousins! IT was like she knew a change was coming! She wold get a little mean and at the time we didn't know where it was coming from or exactly how to handle it! IT's so hard to deal with we turned to prayer and a bunch of trial and era techniques! We just needed to find out what method of disciplines seemed to work! Also at night when we were going to bed and doing our prayers...she always repeats what we say so I decided that we would start asking God to help us with this and she says "Dear God please help me to be nice to my friends" so it works! Prayer is amazing!! I can't believe its about 2 months until her 3rd birthday! For some reason I guess for many different reasons birthday's are hard from me, It sadness me that she is another year older and another year has gone by, but then again I'm excited to see all the many things she will do in the upcoming year! Bryson is amazing he is such a good baby! well so was Mady but He is just so easy going and just generally a mild manored little boy! He just seems to light up a room where ever we are! He is such a smiley little baby! He's a big boy! He at birth was a week early and weighed 8lbs 8oz. and at 5 weeks he was 12lbs 15 oz, just before he reached his 3 month mark he was 17lbs even! You should've seen him on that new born scale it was hilarious! All the nurses at the doctors were cracking up! Two weeks ago Tuesday we were at the doctors for his 1st sick appointment as well as Mady we hard a harsh cold that riped through this house like ab bandit! it was bad! He weighted 18lbs 2 oz! Both my babys were chunky and I love it!!! THere is something so incredibly cuddly about a chubby baby!! Bryce is so alert! Always has been, since he was really small he always was up looking around as well as so strong he holds his head up and his legs are incredible! HE loves loves his exersuaser! S/p? But he is grabbing and hold his toys and we think he is teething because everything is in his mouth and he is bitting down on it as well as well as me!! And it hurts! Mady never really bit down on me! Ouch! This weekend has been a busy one but I Like it that way We went our friend Jimmy's 2nd birthday yesterday and today we have our friend Kendall's 2nd bday today! I'm so glad they are both costume parties, I feel like we get more out of the costume instead of just one day! Mady is a bumble bee and Bryce is a Lion!! I also have a bear costume that Jayson's mom found for him so depending on how cool it is he will wear one of those! I'll be posting somw pictures of us and the kids soon!
